Nina's World

In "Nina's Birthday," Nina plans to make her sixth birthday the best birthday ever, but not everything goes according to plan. In "Nina's Big Adventure," Nina is disappointed that she isn't going on a big adventure like Tio Javier. But with a little imagination, she and Abuelita create their own adventure around the block.

In "Nina the Nurse," Nina is so eager to help Abuelita recover from a cold that she neglects to ask Abuelita what she needs to feel better. In "Super Nina, "Nina and Carlos realize they don't need to be superheroes to be amazing - they can be helpful everyday heroes and still make a big difference.

In "Nina from Space," Nina sees her neighborhood in a different way when she and Chelsea pretend to be visitors from another planet. In "Nina Makes Music," when Tio Javier is having trouble writing a song, Nina helps inspire him.

In "Nina Wants to Grow," Nina wants to grow taller...right now! But eventually she realizes there are good things about being small and that she'll grow when the time is right. In "Nina Takes the Stage," when Nina discovers a Chinese shadow puppet and a variety of costumes in the Everything Store, she and her friends decide to put on a play. But Nina struggles with how to pick the right roles for each friend.

In "Nina's Show and Tell," when Nina discovers a lone flower growing in a sidewalk crack, she's eager to find a way to savor and share its beauty. In "Nina's Snow Day," Nina helps a homesick Chelsea by giving her a snow party - and learns what winter is like in other parts of the world.

In "Nina the Kite Flyer," when Carlos accidentally breaks the kite that he and Nina made together for the kite festival, they must put aside their differences and make a new one with Skye's help. In "Nina's First Sleepover," Nina and Star try to be the perfect hosts when Chelsea stays at their house for a sleepover.

In "Nina Unplugged," when a neighborhood blackout causes chaos on the block, Nina sees an opportunity to bring family and friends together. In "Nina the Great," "Nina the Great" and "Chelsea the Magnificent" nearly let competitive spirits get in the way of their magic show.

In "Nina and Papi Play Basball," when Nina wants to learn how to properly throw a baseball, she asks Papi, a former high-school pitcher nicknamed "Una Bola de Fuego" ("The Fireball"). But Papi is upset that his pitching aim is way off, so Nina decides to help her poor dad out with some practice. In "Nina the Shadow Chaser," while Skye is kid-sitting, Nina and Star watch a scary movie about a shadow monster and their imagination gets away from them.

In "Nina the Artist," Nina tries to paint a picture for a school art project, has trouble getting inspired because she has such high expectations for herself. After a frustrating attempt, Nina is disappointed with what she paints, but to her surprise, others seem to like it. In "Nina and the Missing Myna Bird," When Dr. Kapur's pet bird escapes, Nina and Star team with Carlos and Abuelita to rescue the music-loving mynah.

In "Nina Delivers," when Nina goes on an adventure to the post office, she becomes the "best delivery girl ever," discovering how packages are mailed to different parts of the world. In "Nina's Library Hop," determined to uncover the best home possible for her newly rescued frog-pal, Nina disrupts the peace and quiet at the library.

In "Nina Rides a Bike," when Nina doesn't want to ride her bike after an accident, Abuelita, Carlos and Chelsea build her a "bike school" to help Nina get back on her bike. In "Nina Takes Care," Nina and Abuelita have an important job to do: deliver Mami's famous cakes to Eddie and Mrs. Goldstein. But when Nina tells a fib, cake chaos ensues!

In "Nina's Henna Hijnx," when Dr. Kapur, a talented henna (or "mehndi") artist needs someone to practice on for a niece's upcoming wedding, Nina eagerly volunteers. But little did Nina know that waiting for henna to dry is a lot easier said than done! In "Nina's Everything Garden," Nina learns to be open to new and different things when she gets the chance to plant her own garden.

In "Nina's Family Museum," when Nina, Mami and Abuelita miss out on a day at the museum, Nina decides to create her own mini-museum - of Flores family history! In "Nina Dives In," Nina really wants to learn how to swim, but she and Star are afraid of going into the new - and very big - community pool.
