Miami Beach, 1959: Ike Evans (Jeffrey Dean Morgan of THE WATCHMEN, TV's GREY'S ANATOMY) rings in the New Year at his luxurious Miramar Playa Hotel, while Castro's rebels seize Havana. Miami is turbulent but the Kennedys, the mob, and the CIA all hold court here. And Ike, he's the star of his hotel. But everything comes at a price. To finance his dream, Ike sold his soul to mob boss Ben "The Butcher" Diamond (Danny Huston of CHILDREN OF MEN, 21 GRAMS). Ike's wife Vera (Olga Kurylenko of QUANTUM OF SOLACE), a former showgirl, and his three kids (including Steven Strait of THE COVENANT, 10,000 BC) all think he's an honorable man, but he can't break his pact with the devil. His life is a façade. In fact, nothing at the Miramar Playa is what it seems. The days are sunny but the nights are shady. As Ike's world threatens to implode, he fights for his family and the Miramar Playa, in the Magic City.
