Chef and restaurateur Aaron Craze presents this programme, a combination travelogue and culinary competition, on which he travels around the world to prove that he can cook beloved regional dishes so that they are as tasty and authentic as when the locals prepare the foods. In each episode, Craze learns a local dish before preparing the dish in a competition against the locally crowned master, which can be anyone from the head chef at a five-star restaurant to a roadside cook. Each episode concludes with a blind taste test which tasks a discerning local audience with making the final call on which cook made the better dish. In the final episode, Crazem travels to Australia where all of the dishes are cooked and judged against one another to determine winner of `Taste Off'.
