Season 5 episodes (13)

1 Battle Lines
7/1/18
It’s opening day of the bluefin tuna season in the Outer Banks, and a reduced quota means there’s more pressure than ever to land a fish. Captain Tyler McLaughlin of the Pinwheel has traveled all the way from Gloucester, Massachusetts to fish in these waters, but soon finds there is no Southern hospitality in tuna fishing.
2 Not In Our Backyard
7/8/18
The best fishermen on the Eastern Seaboard continue their battle for bluefin in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Last season’s champion maintains his lead over both the Northern and Southern fleets. But with captains on both sides hungry for paychecks, a rapidly evaporating fish quota and an angry ocean, can the fishermen outwit the fish?
3 Reverse The Curse
7/15/18
As a herd of massive fish hits the waters of North Carolina, the competition heats up between the Northern and Southern fleets. The curse of the Outer Banks strikes again for one of New England’s best fishermen. And with the small quota driving up prices, one Northerner takes a gamble to try and nab a monster bluefin, while the smallest boat in the fleet struggles to land its biggest catch ever.
4 Zombie Tuna
7/22/18
The Doghouse fights to land a foul-hooked fish with a Hail Mary harpoon shot, as the Northern fleet struggles to keep up with the Southern fleet. The Little Shell fishes hard to feed its growing families, and with a storm on the horizon, big risks can have serious consequences. With a one bluefin a day quota, each captain must decide whether to roll the dice in bad weather or head in empty-handed.
5 Man Overboard
7/29/18
Bluefin season in the Outer Banks of North Carolina is a struggle, as sustainability imposes stricter limits on fishing. Northern tuna fishermen who followed the migration are blamed by Southern captains for siphoning their livelihood, hurdling the competition into maximum overdrive in a race to catch the prized blue gold.
6 Redemption
8/5/18
Northern and Southern boats battle for the top-earning title, and a good price on a big fish is all that stands between them. As the season’s quota dwindles and sustainability limits are stricter, bluefin fishermen are feeling the pressure to get paid. One local boat has yet to even catch its first fish, and there’s no paycheck without a bluefin on deck.
7 No Pain, No Gain
8/12/18
The Outer Banks bluefin season is led by an unexpected Northern captain, but when the Southern fleet steps up their game – even more surprises are on the horizon. Are the local fleets’ efforts enough to change the competition? With the quota dwindling, fishing 24/7 is the only option, and none of the boats are backing down as the North Carolina Bluefin season heats up.
8 Man Down
8/19/18
With the small quota running out and top Southern Captain Greg Mayer of the Fishin’ Frenzy sidelined with injury, Northern and Southern fleets see an opportunity to take the lead. Frenzy’s mates Billon and Dirty are at the helm of the ship and a battle begins between the rookies and veteran captains for the top-earning spot. But first the bluefin have to bite.
9 Northern Fury
8/26/18
After four uninspired seasons in the Outer Banks, Captain TJ Ott is out to prove he’s a contender. Meanwhile the Fishin’ Frenzy fights for the title without its leader as Captain Greg Mayer nurses an injured shoulder. In a season when the Northern boats are catching more than ever before, Southern boats continue to fish hard against all odds.
10 Old Golly Whopper
9/2/18
Captain Greg Mayer returns to the helm of the Fishing Frenzy, despite battling a painful shoulder injury. Although his crew has managed the boat well in his absence, Greg knows that the dwindling quota means that every catch matters, and he’s determined to lead his team to victory. Meanwhile, Captain Dale Lisi and his crew on the Foolish Pleasures are having their worst season ever, and struggle to turn their luck around.
11 Blood, Sweat and Tears
9/9/18
As the bluefin quota counts down, the end of the season is near. Captain Tyler McLaughlin finds himself without a mate on the Pinwheel and weighs the risky decision to fish solo, despite the warnings of the other captains. The Outer Banks is treacherous even for the most experienced captains, and fishing alone can be a dangerous gamble. With a limited number of days left to fish, Tyler has to choose between big risk and big reward.
12 High Speed Chase
9/16/18
The quota continues to drop as the end of the season nears. Captain Greg Mayer of the Fishin’ Frenzy is barely holding onto his lead, while other captains are determined to knock him out of the top spot. With his mate back on board, Captain Tyler McLaughlin tries to make up for a disappointing season. Meanwhile, as time runs out, Captain Dave Marciano of the Falcon tries to reel in one last fish.
13 Down to the Wire
9/23/18
With 48 hours left before the season ends, the battle to be the top-earning boat in the Outer Banks heats up. Captain Greg Mayer of the Fishin’ Frenzy looks to regain his title after stumbling last year. He’ll contend with his former mate, Captain Nick Gowitzka of the Little Shell, and Captain TJ Ott of the Hot Tuna, aiming to be the first Northern captain to take the title in the Outer Banks.

Been Deep Sea fishing myself, I say the show has great reality, but to Damm many commercials, all TV now has to many. Really like the show but can"t figure why Marciano has such bad luck. Need some more new ones However I don't like the Southern Boys, some of them are very selfish .. GO PINWHEEL.
