About this show

From Damon Lindelof, co-creator of the hit series Lost, this one-hour drama focuses on a suburban town whose preconceptions are shattered in the wake of a global event dubbed “The Departure” (which may or may not have been the Biblical “rapture”), in which 2% of the world’s population were taken and others left behind.

One of the worst TV series I have watched in ages. Pointless, confusing with nothing really to say although it pretends it has a lot to say. Save your money

Fantastic show, one of my very favourite lesser-known gems. Sometimes it can be a tough watch. It's depressing, beautiful, thoughtful, hopeful and has a powerful honesty and unforgettable characters and heart. The soundtrack alone can move me to tears. Can't sing this shows praises hard enough. Its definitely not for everyone, but I'd at least give the first 3 episodes a try and see how you feel.

I've not got the words to describe just how special this show is. It's not the easiest watch, it'd be wrong to say you don't get the answers to your questions, but they normally come with more questions and leave your mind blown all at the same time. It's rare to find a show that ends as well as you'd hoped it would and satisfy what you need from it. But, this ends better than I thought. It's almost a perfect ending. I'll watch again and again.
