The Slap

Aisha and Hector host a backyard birthday party to celebrate his 40th. Unfortunately, the party is anything but celebratory, as Hector (Peter Sarsgaard) wrestles with his attraction to the teenage babysitter, Connie (Makenzie Leigh), and his cousin slaps a child who is not his own. Zachary Quinto, Thandie Newton, Brian Cox, Uma Thurman, Melissa George and Thomas Sadoski also star.

As the situation escalates and the police visit Harry (Zachary Quinto), Hector (Peter Sarsgaard) convinces him to apologize to Gary (Thomas Sadoski) and Rosie (Melissa George), but his temper gets in the way. Uma Thurman, Thandie Newton and Brian Cox also star.

The slap has caused a rift in Anouk's friendship with Rosie. In the midst of attempting to balance her television show, ailing mother, and her much younger boyfriend, Anouk discovers she's pregnant.

In an effort to rebuild friendships, Manolis (Brian Cox) tries to convince Aisha (Thandie Newton) to forgive Harry (Zachary Quinto). When his plans fail, a night of drunken soul searching brings him to a dying friend. Also starring Peter Sarsgaard, Uma Thurman, Melissa George and Thomas Sadoski.

Connie (Makenzie Leigh) comes to believe her secretive relationship with Hector (Peter Sarsgaard) will help her escape her mundane life. A visit to her father's former lover prompts Connie to profess her love to Hector, and she must deal with the consequences. Following Aisha's (Thandie Newton) emotional business trip, Hector (Peter Sarsgaard) surprises her with a romantic getaway during which each of their secrets is finally revealed.

In the process, Rosie (Melissa George) alienates what few sympathizers she has left, including her husband, Gary (Thomas Sadoski). But when Thanasis (Michael Nouri) dismantles Rosie's testimony in court, Gary comes to her defense and informs the prosecution of Ritchie's (Lucas Hedges) incriminating photographs. Also starring Peter Sarsgaard, Thandie Newton, Uma Thurman, Zachary Quinto and Brian Cox.

Harry (Zachary Quinto) and Thanasis (Michael Nouri) discover and immediately leak a dark story from Ritchie's (Lucas Hedges) past, sending Ritchie into a suicidal spiral. Thankfully, Gary (Thomas Sadoski) saves Ritchie and tells him to tell his truth, no matter who it hurts.
