About this show

Having spent last season trying to track down the Loom of Fate, the Legends must now save history from a foe like none they’ve encountered in the past or future. Waverider co-captains Sara Lance and Ava Sharpe have dealt with monsters, time anomalies, and most recently, villains from Hell, but this season they will face something even more challenging and bizarre ... space aliens! After one of their own is abducted by a ruthless alien, this new mission becomes personal. It will take more than the combined powers of John Constantine, Mick Rory, Nate Heywood, and brother-sister duo, Zari and Behrad Tarazi, to save the world for a sixth time. They must recruit a new Legend, a woman who was abducted by aliens when she was a child and supposedly imbued with powers that will help the team defeat their intergalactic foes. Either that or she’s just crazy...

The first 3 seasons are great to watch but it has slowly become merely a parody of itself, there is embracing weirdness and then there is just plain lazy writing in doing whatever comes into thought no matter the idea. Also it went from a show about a collection of b list heroes to a bunch of randoms who don't really have anything to offer par comic relief. They also ruined John Constantine. It's time to wrap this show up me thinks!

I just recently watched this show and wow I binged all the 3 available seasons, I can't wait to be able to watch 4 and the show was just renewed for a 5th season. Its a great show with some great actors/actresses who all have good chemistry with one another. Its just a great show all in all and even better for people who are into Sc-Fi and DC/Comics. Also the show has some good queer content from Season 3 for any lgbt+ people out there

The first season was hard going - ponderous and over-serious. Luckily things started to improve in the second when the writers started taking themselves less seriously. Some of the highlights include persuading the young George Lucas to go back to film school and a somewhat anachronistic "medieval" knight observing that Ray's upgraded sword looks like a "sabre... made of light"... but as Ray himself observes, they wouldn't be able to call it that for trademark reasons... then there's the Damien Darkh/Malcolm Merlyn double-act.
