About this show

The history of the automobile and the history of America are intimately intertwined; to celebrate one is to celebrate the other. Featuring super-cars, extreme stunts and challenges, car reviews and celebrity interviews, the U.S. version of the wildly popular BBC series Top Gear promises high-adrenaline action entertainment as it tracks the colorful history of the automobile. Top Gear on History is a perfect fit for anyone with a love of cars, showcasing an offbeat celebration of automobiles and driving as well as the eccentric adventures of its hosts -- comedian Adam Ferrara, stunt driver and champion rally and drift racer Tanner Foust, and car-obsessed racing analyst Rutledge Wood -- with the UK version's customary wit and humor.

Total copy of original BBC without having the chemistry of the original cast. They try and use the same jokes of one old one less old and huge and one young and small except the size difference is not there nor is the age gap. Why didn't they just use the same concept but let the actors take their own approach to personality vs trying to copy the BBC cast. It's not horrible but if you where a fan of the UK version the the blatant attempt to copy the UK cast and attitude is kind of hard to watch.

Don't listen to these idiots on here. If the UK version is better than stick to that. Now as a fan of both series, it's impossible to compare the two! One has 20 odd seasons under its belt, the other has 4. So now all you trolls that are obsessed with the BBC, either keep your dumb a** comments to yourselves, or move to England where you can join Clarkson and may in one of the American rants over a cup of tea.
