1 The Dark Days are Over

Residents of Port Protection emerge from winter with their paths forever changed. As Oliver and Breanna take to the water for fresh protein, a desperate need for firewood pushes Curly into icy conditions. After surviving a health scare, Sam works with Jiggy to harvest human-powered electricity. Troy tests his carpentry skills installing siding on the cabin he now shares with his girlfriend.
2 Packing Heat

Carl stalks a deer. Troy braves the cold water on a dive to recover building materials for Oliver. Squibb and Oliver try to rip a yellow cedar out of the woods. Curly and Mary tear down a dangerous structure looming over Curly's generator shed. Veronica attempts her first solo tree falling.
3 Still Icy

Carl's quest to find food for his new fiancé Morgan comes to a thrilling end. Squibb and Veronica venture out into a storm in hopes of catching some winter seafood. Breanna and Oliver repurpose salvaged materials to upgrade their home. Jiggy and Matt experience explosive results recycling old boat batteries. Curly sets out on a dangerous mission.
4 Tree of Death

Winter is almost over and there's a lot to do before Spring ramps things up. Some of the female residents teach the newest resident, Sarah, how to fish and drive a skiff, Carl and Morgan fix their heating problem, Oliver and Breanna take a swing at the high life with a brand new sauna, and Curly and Jiggy battle a deadly tree that threatens Jiggy's home.
5 Professor Chainsaw

The residents of Port Protection struggle to keep their community safe and successful in spite of Mother Nature. Carl and Morgan reclaim old skiffs for a sustainable garden. Sam, Troy and Sarah attempt to remove and reclaim a mast from a sunken ship in the cove. Matt tries to remove an obstacle blocking passage to Point Baker. And Curly helps Jiggy eliminate Danger Trees threatening his home.
6 The Beaver Trap

Sam ascends to a rotten boat roof when he and Squibb attempt to salvage an unwieldy and heavy mast. Meanwhile, Oliver descends into an abandoned boat for a valuable piece for a much-needed project. Breanna and Veronica take Sarah on an adventure to teach her the Alaskan art of clamming. And Curly and Mary encounter unsettling signs on their search for beaver.
7 Any Blood Will Do

Oliver, Carl, and Matt fish with slinky pots for the first time and catch more than they bargained for. Curly builds a fish table and tries for halibut to break it in. Breanna, Terri, and Kris teach Veronica to haul logs out of the woods. And Sam repairs a wood stove that serves as the beating heart of his home.
8 Chaos Always

Milestone achievements are only possible with steep challenges for the people of Port Protection. Matt helps Carl drag a massive barrel above his house. Mike "Jiggy" Nichols struggles to pull a salmon. Oliver and Breanna motor off to a new bay to find treasures and trout. And Squibb designs a new dock for his house - but can he build it?
9 Rode Hard and Put Away Wet

Community members dive in together on some important aquatic projects. Squibb addresses a potentially deadly issue for the Bay, the Gothic gets some much-needed improvements before fishing season starts, Oliver and Breanna get a major upgrade to their floating spa, and Carl cashes in a favor to finally get running water in his forever home.
10 Don't Look Back
5/6/24
Port Protection takes advantage of summer weather to harvest Nature's bounty. Dave Squibb and Kris scour the beach for precious firewood. Oliver, Breanna, and Troy try to resurrect a valuable anchor from its watery grave. Jiggy and Gail take nephew Ethan and neighbor Veronica on an adventure at sea. And Curly takes a long-time resident on a "last hurrah" before they leave for a new life in Craig.

About this show

Port Protection is home to the few who have left behind normal society and chosen a different life in a remote Alaskan community, where survival of the individuals and community cannot sustain without the other.

Where do they keep their stash of cheeseburgers and donuts? People are pretty big especially "Curly"!
