About this show

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for an undiscovered designer to catapult into the big time by winning his or her own show on HGTV. Each week the competing designers are put through creative challenges that are unexpected, suspenseful and ultimately showcase their talents. At the end of each episode one to two designers' will be eliminated until the final winner is chosen. Hosted by David Bromstad, and panel members Vern Yip, and Genevieve Gorder, there's never a loss for talent in TV's hottest reality competition show.

I just love David, he is cuter than a bugs ear and quite the character, he is very refreshing! Never get tired of reruns, ever!

This show is really good, I love the challenges! Its also really good that they choose a wide variety of people to be contestants, they don't fit in one cookie cutter :-) it just seems a little different/weird from the original version of this show... (I can't put my finger on it) and I'm still confused about why they don't call it HGTV design star anymore... ? Help me out on this one!!!
