Jude s faced with performing, yet again, on this year s Instant Star finale but this time she manages to convince Darius to let her off the hook. Jude enjoys her newfound freedom until revealing photos of her surface and a blackmailer threatens to destroy her hard-won credibility. Things get even stickier for Jude when Karma, a rising Instant Star and protégé, spills everything to Darius. He seizes the opportunity to regain control, using the photos as leverage over Jude. When Tommy Q finally returns from "business" will Jude find a way to move on from him? And just who is this new little friend he s brought home?

Jude's feeling pretty damn good after taking control of her life and releasing the would-be blackmail photos on the internet. In an attempt to make nice with Darius, Jude accepts to perform at a bar mitzvah for the son of a G Major board member. And Portia s arranged a press conference to let the media see the distinction between the 'new' Jude and Karma, G Major's latest Instant Star. Too bad for Jude, Karma's idea of demonstrating they're different is by announcing she's a virgin -- unlike "bad girl" Jude. Now Jude has to restore her dignity, while finding a way of getting even with her new nemesis. Meanwhile, Sadie's trying to decipher Kwest's cryptic love vibes. Could they ever become a couple under Tommy s watchful eye?

When Jude's recent shenanigans get blown out of proportion, Tommy convinces her to pour herself into her music. Trouble is, Jude can t get any Tommy time because he s too busy producing Karma's album. And Karma s making sure things stay that way. This does not sit well with Jude and the machinations to get Tommy back begin. Also, when Patsy wastes precious studio time, Darius commands Patsy's boy-toy Jamie to convince her to finish her album-- and make the damned thing listenable. Jamie s well aware Patsy's anything but commercial, but will Darius corporate machine force Jamie into deceiving his gal?

Patsy continues to spiral out of control so Jude decides to step in and lend a helping hand. But when Jamie and Patsy break up, and Patsy is essentially dropped from the label, Jude can't help but feel responsible. Now Jude's determined to help Patsy finish her album and help patch things up, but all Patsy wants is to go on one more wild jaunt. Will Jude be able to stop Patsy's seemingly endless slide into self-destruction? Meanwhile, Tommy s specter continues to keep Sadie and Kwest apart. Question is, what s Kwest going to do about it and does Sadie even want him to?

In the aftermath of Patsy's self-destruction Darius announces plans for a memorial in Patsy s honor. But instead of doing what Patsy would ve wanted, Jude sees Big D just trying to fast-track Patsy's album and ghoulishly capitalize on her demise. When Jude turns to Jamie for support, he surprises her by coldly siding with Darius. Turns out Jamie blames Jude for what happened to Pasty. Jude battles to find peace for Patsy and to soothe her own soul in the process.

When Jude announces she ll be doing a rockin' charity concert in Patsy's name, she discovers how much good she can do as a famous rock-goddess. Behind the scenes, poor sister Sadie's saddled with all the grunt work of planning the benefit. And what no one knows is Sadie's just been offered a prestigious four-month internship in New York. Sadie isn't sure taking off right now is the best thing for Jude. But when the event falls apart and blame lands on Sadie s shoulders, she announces that Jude won't have her to kick around anymore: she s leaving for NYC. Meanwhile, Jamie finds out one of his rock idols has just left his label. Now all he has to do is figure out how to entice him over to G Major. Just how far will Jamie go to land the big fish?

It's Jude and Tommy's first day in the studio as co-producers and the romantic sparks are flying. When they hit the road in search of inspiration, Tommy struggles with a ghost from the past and his true feelings for Jude. When Speed won't help her write a song, she dupes the other SME boys into doing it. Will Karma be the Yoko who splits SME up?

In honor of Jude s 18th birthday, G Major is throwing her a swank bash. What more could a girl ask for? Jude's in love with Tommy, and he loves her back. Jude wants to sing as loudly as she possibly can about her new romance, but Tommy's hesitant for some reason. And when Jude meets a handsome, mysterious stranger claiming to be an old friend of Tommy's, Tommy overreacts when he sees Jude with him. What is making Tommy so jumpy and what is he keeping from Jude? Once again, Tommy is as tight-lipped as ever. As for Sadie, she's questioning whether Kwest is the one who can spark her flame. But will her doubt put out their romantic fire for good?

Jude's birthday extravaganza is in full-swing and our girl's on stage, belting out her feelings for Tommy via a smokin and sultry love song. With the spotlight shining on the two lovers, how could anything so right go wrong? Sick of pretending, Jude finishes the last note and swoops in to kiss Tommy. Now Jude has to spend the entire day on camera, exposing her recording process, while trying to keep her wounded-self together. If she can help it, no one's going to burst her bubble while she's in front of the lens. Right? So Jude takes a deep breath and dives into the recording studio with Tommy. But after what Tommy did, Jude can't stand to be in the same room as him and tells fires him. On camera. So, without anyone to produce her song, Jude s got to show she's got what it takes to make it solo in the studio. And she better not blow it, 'cause the whole world is watching.

What Jude didn t know was she was wearing real fur and now she's got animal activists thinking she's the enemy. So Jude's determined to set things right and uses her star-power to stand up for herself. While promoting an upcoming live performance, Jude defends her fur-wearing debacle...only to end up offending a whole new group. Now Jude s caught in a PR storm that won't go away and she's fending off protesters from both sides! Jude s frustration escalates when Darius breaks the bad news: They're pulling the plug on her live performance. Jude doesn t understand why everyone is getting so worked up.
