It's time for Neo-Venezia's annual carnevale and Ai has come back to Aqua for a visit. As Akari and Ai wander through streets, they catch a glimpse of Casanova, the mysterious master of ceremonies. Who is the man behind the mask?

While practicing their sculling Akari, Aika, and Alice find a small treasure box. Inside they find a simple riddle that sends them on a treasure hunt that spans the entire city.

A meteor shower is scheduled and Akari, Aika, and Alice have made plans to watch it together. But this time, Al, one of Neo-Venezia's gravity-controlling Gnomes, will be there as well. Even though he's shorter than the girls, he's actually three years their senior. He's very knowledgeable about physics, planets, and the beauty of the universe, but what he doesn't seem to know is how Aika feels whenever she's with him.

The mail man's gondola is being repaired, so just for today Akari is making the rounds with him to get the job done. As she learns the ins and outs of what it means to be a mail carrier, she meets a boy who needs his letter delivered at any cost.

Akari and Alicia visit a shrine that despite its beauty yields a hint of mystery and danger. Then, Akari and Alicia wonder on a different island, looking for a beautiful spot that Alicia once saw.

Athena notices something strange about Alice as she realizes she doesn't have any friends her own age. So when Alice receives an invitation to a party with other Orange planet pairs that she immediately rejects, Aika and Akari decide to get to the bottom of Alice's puzzling behavior.

The girls see President Aria in his own gondola, but he doesn't see them. Instead he disappears down a canal that's normally closed off. According to Alicia, there's an old legend about a strange realm where people are forbidden to enter. Could such a place really exist?

Festa Del Bocolo has arrived. This is a day where women receive roses from the people who admire them. Akatsuki wants to give Alicia as many roses as he can, but he's too nervous to deliver them even though he'd never admit it. Will Akari be able to help?

When the tourists ask questions that Akari doesn't know the answers to, Alicia replies with ease. This sparks a fire in Aika and Alice, and they decide to compete to see which one knows the most hidden wonders in Neo-Venezia.

No matter where she is, Akari has the ability to befriend any stranger. To learn more about this mysterious power, Aika and Alice decide to follow her in secret. But they soon see they might have to blow their cover when Akari starts talking to a dangerous-looking man in black.

Akari has been given her very first solo job: carrying a shipment of Neo-Venezian glassware. Unfortunately the glassmaker's apprentice is sour and angry, and he's the one who'll be traveling with her. Can Akari handle the pressure from a critical taskmaster while transporting fragile cargo?

During a heat wave-induced haze, Akari follows President Aria into a mysterious cafe. And later, the girls decide to buy little wind chimes with glowing beads inside. The glow only lasts for a month before it fades, so Akari decides to make the most of the time she has.

Alice has created a new challenge for herself: When she walks home from school, she can only step on shadows. This is an ironclad law for her, but try as she might, she keeps failing.

Akari realizes the Aria Company doesn't have palina, which is a tall, decorated pole used to hitch gondolas. She soon decides to make one but discovers it's tough work building something from scratch.

Akari, Akatsuki, and Akria learn about Al's childhood while eating lunch. They also hear about the mysterious young boy who put Akatsuki squarely in his place.

Akari receives disturbing news when she takes her gondola in for a routine inspection. The repairman explains the gondola is too old for tourism use and should be sold for parts.

On the night before her old gondola is set to be taken away, Akari and Alicia decide to have an evening picnic out on the water. As they laugh and talk, Alicia tells her stories of the gondola and how it was an important part of her life as an apprentice.

Aika leans a little too close to a grill and catches her long, beautiful hair on fire! How will this hot-tempered beauty handle losing something that was so precious to her?

While Aika is stuck in bed after catching a cold, she wonders if Akari and Alice are slacking off. She soon decides to sneak out of bed to spy on them.

Akari spots a woman dressed in black with her face covered with a thick veil. Aika is reminded of the legend of an angry spirit come to life. Supposedly the ghost kidnaps any gondolier foolish enough to take her on board.

Akari believes she will have another encounter with the secretive spirit Cait Sith when mysterious happenings take place. She knows something is wrong when she's woken up by the distant sound of a train even though Neo-Venezia's trains don't run at that hour.

Akari innocently suggests that the little space between two stairs at the Aria Company is a portal to another world. President Aria squeezes through the gap and pops out on the other side to find a terrifying sight!

Alicia and Akari give a tour to an elderly couple who have come to Neo-Venezia to celebrate their anniversary. Even though the husband is tough on the outside, he still wants what's best for his wife, and it's up to the girls to help him create a celebration that she'll remember always.

Heavy rain keeps the girls from their usual gondola practice, so they decide to spend the day at Himeya. It's here that Aika realizes she's being noticed. Does that mean she's finally being recognized for her skills as an undine?

Akari, Aika, and Alice have been given their latest assignment: They must host a party on the Festa del Redentore. They rent a large boat and start brushing up on their hostess skills, but Akari can't help but be a little distracted as she hasn't heard from Ai in a while, and all her emails have gone unanswered.

Akari and Alicia have a playful day when they roll snow into a giant ball. During this time Alicia slowly reveals secrets about her childhood.
