This show is in the same kind of mould as Hill Street Blues, NYPD Blue, The Wire and other great U.S cop shows. The way it's shot gives it almost a documentary feel but also like the wire it's not afraid to potray police officers in shades of grey. I was so gutted they ended it after season 5.

Difficult to watch at times but only due to its gripping, realistic writing. Easily one of the single most underrated shows on TV. A must watch.

My second all time favourite cop show. Feels real, gritty, sleazy. Great characters, great acting and important issues.
