A classic from the age of Saturday Morning cartoons. If you're a long-time lover of the Wall Crawler, or even if this is your first time hearing of him, this is a great performance to see. Inspired deeply by the original comics, featuring gripping voice acting, stunning visuals, and an iconic musical score this was the definitive Spider-Man collection of a generation. Watch episode-by-episode as Peter Parker goes from his humble beginnings and encounters all of his classic villains for the first time. Peter is written to have a very real and relatable personality as he tries to balance the responsibilities of being a hero while also trying to be close to the people he cares about. The villains of this series are written to be complex and even relatable. You will see as Spider-Man struggles not only to stop them from causing harm, but even goes so far as to show mercy and compassion for them in ways no other hero has ever genuinely tried to do. If ever there was a series that tried to stay true to Spider-Man's origins and the nature of the characters in his story, this is it. See for yourself and know just how courageous Spider-Man can be.

It's definitely better than Spider-Man The 67' Collection but that's not saying much. This show is not on the level of say, Batman: The Animated Series and it's definitely not as grounded as Batman: The Animated Series was, this Spider-Man show is (at times) even more outlandish than Superman: The Animated Series turned out to be, two years later. If I could level a criticism at the show it would be that there's never a quiet moment in the series. And at times the shows insults the viewer's intelligence.

The animation and stories were great. But parker talks WAYYYYY too much. I remember watching it and thinkin, ok, they are gonna figure out that we don't care about his EVERY thought. And why didn't anyone get punched, kicked yes, but no punches. But pretty good stuff. The ONLY show tht actually did spidey justice. This other junk they putting out is just disrespectful.
