About this show

Ruby (Alexa Vega) has always wanted a family, and she thinks her search may be over when she finally meets her father for the first time, former '80s rock star, David Gallagher (David Cassidy). But David's nightly gig at the local casino and his aging rock star lifestyle forces him to go to his estranged brother, Patrick Gallagher (Patrick Cassidy), for help. Patrick agrees to take Ruby in, having left the music scene long ago to lead a quiet life with his wife and two sons. Now, Ruby — a budding musician herself — tries her best to keep order within the Gallagher clan and in the process, discovers what it means to have a real family.
