Raquel decides she's not going to wait by the phone any longer and starts pushing to get a movie made for her to play the lead. Alicia's not having any luck with her dancing auditions and takes a different approach by attending a party with a D-list actor. After presenting an impressive demo at the studio, Tariq is offered the golden ticket. He's going to produce a track with "The" Kaldrick King. When he meets the infamous rapper, Tariq quickly realizes that this new role won't be easy.
3 Who You Know

After being told that her Hollywood stock has plummeted, Raquel has a major setback. Offended and angry, she is even more hell-bent on getting Kevin and Cam's script made. Meanwhile Nick, who is having a hard time finding his voice on stage, has a potential breakthrough. Tariq's new track is shot down by Kaldrick, is he carrying a grudge? Alicia gets an unexpected proposition. Connor struggles keep his head above water at work. And Abby's new role isn't exactly what she expected.

When Alicia's business venture with Ricky doesn't yield a great return, an unexpected opportunity presents itself.

Meanwhile Connor is finding it hard to keep up appearances at work.
6 Burn It Down

About this show

The L.A. Complex focuses on a select group of aspiring performers pursuing celluloid and stardom in LA. Moving into an apartment-style motel for displaced dreamers, each dubbed "most likely to succeed", they all face the challenges and opportunities of a lifetime. For every bona fide starlet, there are countless cocktail waitresses. For every true rock star, there are hundreds of buskers on the pier. For every comedian with a hit sitcom, there are dozens of guys cracking jokes while pouring your coffee. In LA your life can change in the blink of an eye. On Monday, you might score some face-time with the big-shot producer. On Tuesday, you might drink the night away, just to cope with the loneliness. On Wednesday, you might sign that multi-million dollar contract. On Thursday, you might try to sleep your way to the top, only to end up in the gutter. But one thing is for sure - on Friday, the rent is due. The six-episode first season of The L.A. Complex is executive produced by Linda Schuyler and Stephen Stohn of Epitome Pictures (Degrassi, Instant Star), showrun and executive produced by Martin Gero (Young People F*cking, Bored to Death).

But close!! I enjoy this show a great deal...season 1 more so for tariq and the "down low" gay rapper. I was only watching for them! The other stories last season were just ok. However, this season...all of their stories are good with the exception of the newbies!! The orphan girl with her little brother...they need to X those 2 odd the show! Other than them...its a good show and I better be seeing tariq soon CW!!! LOL

There's something there for everyone. Romance, greed, lust, business all L.A. style and like no other. Character development is pretty good except for one and I'll let you find that one.. it's a female... Moving on, all the action emanates from the cool digs at the Delux motel renting for a cool $400 a week or thereabouts-that's including nightly party and house band-no one knows where in the hell they came from but it adds a nice touch to the whole experience. Oh yea their music isn't that bad either.. I hope you enjoy it.
