It's too early to tell how good this show is. It has a lot of potential. I find myself extremely fond of John's, Jack the Ripper's, charm in this. Which only fuels his serial killer pathology more for me. I however detest the cheesy aspect of H.G. Well's relationship with Vanessa. It is really corny and it makes it seem like Vanessa is helpless and desperate which we know she isn't. I am intrigued by the further future plot but the episodes don't seem long enough to me and leave me with a desire for the next episode. I watch this on Hulu Plus, because I find it easier with other shows I prefer more on at the same time as this. Overall, I'm excited to see where this show goes.

Aside from the minor annoyance of some SJW language to start with, this is a very well done show and I like it better than the movie I had watched when I was a kid. It deserves five stars.

It was an interesting show that had swerves and intrigue, I was really getting into it and found out ABC cancelled it instead of opting to show the rest of the episodes produced. I hope Google Play will get the chance to add the produced shows so they can be viewed here.
