Funny, fun and full of heart, Suave Says will follow famous Latin lover turned preacher, Gerardo Mejia, as he fights to keep his family together the only way he knows how; with laughter and love.

Now that the family is all back under one roof, there seem to be some growing pains as they get reacquainted with one another. Nadia is desperately trying to spend some catch-up time with her sister, but Bianca's boyfriend Zac seems to continuously come between them. Meanwhile, Gerardo is desperate to reconnect with his 13-year-old son Jaden. Unfortunately for him, Jaden wants nothing to do with his parents right now.

Gerardo's three kids are completely out of touch with their Ecuadorian heritage, so he forces them to learn some Spanish. Unfortunately, the kids are led astray with some naughty phrases by their grandmother. Meanwhile, after living in America for 40 years, Kathy has convinced her husband Gerardo to finally become a US citizen. With the help of a study session with the whole family, he is ready for the test.

Aspiring model, Nadia, has her heart set on walking the runway at LA Fashion Week. Her agency has sent her out to an industry event to secure a spot, but she is horrified when her dad takes over as life of the party and jeopardizes her chances of getting in the show. Her sister Bianca also has dreams of entering the fashion industry – as a designer. But her fear of driving may prevent her from attending an important job interview and her timid nature may be her downfall.

When the Mejia kids propose a 21st birthday party for Lexi, Gerardo puts his foot down when it comes to having alcohol at the fiesta. Unfortunately, Nadia, Bianca and Zac are determined to bootleg some booze. Meanwhile, Kathy can't help but nose her way into her teenage son's love life, much to his embarrassment. With all three of their kids anxious to get out from under their parents' thumb, it seems Kathy and Gerardo are facing the hardest thing for any parents to do – let them go.

Kathy is not a fan of "healthy eating" but when she becomes inspired by a Hollywood fad diet, she is willing to try whatever if takes to get in shape…and she's dragging the family along with her. She enters the gang into a 5K and starts training, but Gerardo isn't exactly acting like the supportive husband.

Love is a battlefield in the Mejia household. Bianca has her first fight with her boyfriend Zac. After 20 years of marriage, Kathy is worried her hubby Gerardo barely notices her anymore. After attempting (and failing) to attract his attention, Kathy Is ready to just give up. But Gerardo has some surprises up his sleeve.

Kathy's dreams of a romantic vacation are crushed when Gerardo decides to postpone the trip and take the whole family to Ecuador for a resurrection "Rico Suave" concert. Meanwhile, things come to a head between sisters Nadia and Bianca when deep seeded tensions about what happened when Bianca ran away with Zac are exposed.

Kathy and Gerardo have decided to celebrate their 20th anniversary by renewing their wedding vows. As the extended family gathers for the celebration, Gerardo takes the opportunity to put Zac to the test and see if he's worthy of his daughter Bianca. But as the day of the renewal ceremony approaches, Kathy is starting to question her own motives for getting remarried – and it may not be good news for Gerardo.

With their 20th anniversary approaching, Kathy and Gerardo have planned to renew their wedding vows. But when Kathy goes into crisis mode, the family is forced to finally deal with all the issues from their past.
