Season 4 episodes (12)

1 Kawaii Fidelity / Rocky Road
10/13/17
HJ5 has cut a record at Twisty T's recording studio, which will debut on a radio show that night. But the girls discover that the record turns anyone who listens to it will turn into a Monster Pet. HJ5 try to stop the record from being played, but both Rudie and Twisty T are transformed. The girls learn that their frenemy Tizzie Lizzie had the record infected because she wants the whole world to turn into Monster Pets. In the end, HJ5 foil Tizzie and turn everyone back to normal. When HJ5 are stranded in a small town, Littleville, they try to get out in time for an audition. But no matter how hard they try, they end up back in Littleville. Angel is the most determined to get away, even though she is surprisingly good at country tasks - like square dancing and rounding up cacklebeaky chickens. In the end, Angel reveals she's from a small town, and this town has reminded her of what she liked about where she grew up.
2 This Place is a Zoo / Wacky Wednesday
10/20/17
HJ5 play a disastrous show at the zoo, and end up wrecking several of the animals' enclosures. They offer to watch the animals while they get new enclosures built, but must hide the ensuing chaos from a visiting record producer. Rudie and Music both think the other has an easier job. But when they magically switch bodies during a rare astronomical event, they have to try to fill in as each other. Music didn't realize how much mundane work Rudie had to put into being a manager, and Rudie didn't realize how hard it was to be a popstar. Upon gaining appreciation for each others' lives, they become themselves again.
3 Dream Escape / The Kimberlys
10/27/17
Baby's having an adorable, kawaii dream when she's rudely awoken. Rudie announces his wild plan to get a meeting with star-maker record producer Jazz Rockenjock by posing as a bellhop. It's genius. He's going to get them an audition, and they only have an hour to prepare a new song. As usual, Rudie miscalculated. Jazz is willing to listen to the girls, but he's looking for music that's hard, edgy and dark. Rudie also didn't count on the fact that Baby's dream would start taking over the real world. HJ5 must find their dark side while dealing with cotton candy televisions, tickle monsters, flying baby unicorns and a tiny Fairy Rudie from Baby's dream world. In the end they decide to ditch Jazz Rockenjock instead of trying to become someone they're not. Rudie announces he's finally signed a second client! The Kimberlys are a group of five adorable, identical divas with style galore. At first HJ5 welcomes them with open arms, but the dark side of Rudie's new clients quickly surfaces. They take over KKH, helping themselves to everything. They steal time in the rehearsal lounge, and they only lip synch their lyrics! They steal music and dance moves from HJ5. Eventually they even try to take HJ5's place. Using a holographic technology, they make themselves look like HJ5, and they make HJ5 look like the Kimberlys! When the fake Music thanks Rudie for all his hard work, Rudie realizes someone is impersonating Music and HJ5. He works with his friends to foil the fiendish plot of The Kimberlys.
4 Cecil G. DeMille / Sky High Kawaii
11/3/17
Rudie's got great news. He's borrowed Harajuku Studios for the night. They have six hours to film a hit music video. G and the others object, there's no plan and they haven't rehearsed. Rudie tells them they're going to "wing it." There follows a chaotic night. Rudie has Love fly a fake spaceship while singing with Angel, who rides a fake comet and plays the Queen of Outer Space. They get tangled in the wires and crash. Baby has better luck tap dancing with some baby penguins, but Rudie cuts her act short and moves on to Music fighting some sparring robots he borrowed from a science fiction set next door. G brings it all home, by singing on a sinking ship set. G quickly edits all the crazy footage into a surprisingly good music video, which Rudie accidentally deletes! No problem, now they know they can do it, they'll just shoot a new video. Rudie knows a guy who will let them use the sound stage at Dodgy Equipment Studios. "Lights! Camera! Disaster! Take two!" laughs Music with delight. HJ5's new music video "Be Who You Are" only gets one like on KuuKuu Tube, while their arch-rivals (girl band The Kimberlys) gets a million likes by ripping off an HJ5 song. Love programs a trend-predictor to help the girls get more likes than The Kimberlys. The competition is ON! HJ5 gets more likes with their uniphants in bowler hats doing tuba parkour video. The Kimberlys counter with Extreme Polka. HJ5 posts a city-wide Giant Pinball video, rising to the top until The Kimberlys beat them with freestyling Monster Pets. HJ5 sky dives into a giant pie! The Kimberlys are about to break all records by singing the highest note ever from a balloon stage that lifts them into the atmosphere. HJ5 gets a floating stage of their own, but quickly realize they should just be who they are. They let The Kimberly's win the "like" contest by hitting the highest note ever recorded. That's when they realize Rudie only posted their first video to his Granny Rhodes. Love sends "Be Who You Are" out to the world, and the "likes" start pouring in!
5 And the Winner Is... / The Trouble with Trilbys
11/10/17
Rudie neglects to read the fine print in a contract again, and HJ5 find their home taken over by Busy Fizzy Jones. She has created a reality show called , "Keeping up with the Jones,"! HJ5 must compete with G's old nemesis Say-Wah, the winner gets a record deal at Busy Fizzy Records. Whoever loses their temper three times during the various challenges loses the contract. As Say-Wah cheats her way toward victory, it becomes clear Busy has ulterior motives. She's trying to humiliate HJ5 for ratings! It all comes down to Baby, who must "counter to every fiber of her being" lose her temper so HJ5 can get their home back. With help from her friends, she succeeds, and Say-Wah wins the recording contract. Searching Love's lab for his secret birthday present, Rudie accidentally dons a cool-looking Trilby hat he finds. The hat has a holographic control panel, and Rudie gleefully starts pressing buttons. The hat overloads, and spontaneously generates its own personality. The "Trilbytron" locks onto Rudie's head, determined to protect him from danger. An unfortunate misunderstanding leads the hat to believe balloons are out to get Rudie, and it drags Rudie and HJ5 on a series of misadventures through Harajuku in an effort to destroy all balloons. Sadly, this is the day of the annual local parade demonstrating the city's most enormous, kawaii balloon collection.
6 Who Are You Calling Cupid? / Beach
11/17/17
Cupid himself shows up at KKH HQ on Music's least favorite holiday, Hugginstime Day. He takes exception to her belief that it's just a made up holiday. During the disagreement, Cupid is knocked out of the sky. He loses his contact lenses when he lands and can't see who he's shooting at. The resulting mis-matches create havoc in Harajuku! Cupid gives Music a jar of "Love Shove," the perfect antidote to his arrows. She rains the contents of the jar down on the city, ruining Hugginstime Day forever. Music realizes the true meaning of Hugginstime. It's a celebration of passion and zest for life. She has a change of heart, and helps Cupid bring passion back to Harajuku. Love is determined to finally win the Harajuku Young Inventor of the Year Awards. She's lost four years running to her arch-rival Angelica. Angelica reveals her invention, "Kawaii in a Can," which is spray-on kawaii fashion! Love shows off her hologram 6D printer, which allows her to create a beach wherever she wants. Angelica's worried; Love might just win this contest with her fantastic invention. Angelica hacks the software, creating real water for the beach! They go back and forth, bigger and bigger, adjusting the software and adding boats, octopus, and spikey fish. Angelica ups the ante, creating a dangerous storm. Love one-ups her with a deadly whirlpool. Angelica finally admits she's beaten, and Love turns off the device. Sadly, both Love and Angelica have been disqualified for unsportsmanlike conduct. This year's award goes to Rudie Rhodes for his toothbrush/electric razor/pet hair clipper. "I dreamed of winning this for my entire day!" Rudie says proudly.
7 Maxi-Mini Golf / White Glitter Gliders
12/1/17
Rudie's got a recording contract with Roman Ramazanov of Ego Records, the label that signed G's favorite singer Rosie Rubie! There's one catch. G has to play Roman in a friendly game of miniature golf. As it turns out, it's not a friendly game at all. Roman cheats on every hole, and is also a braggart and a trash-talker. He pushes G too far, calling her a "little girlie." G decides to put him in his place, and thrashes him on the next few holes. It becomes increasingly obvious that there will be no contract unless he wins. G is torn. In the end, she takes the advice of her idol Rubie Rosie, who tells her, "Always do your best." G wins the match and loses the contract. "Who cares?" says Rudie, tearing up the unsigned contract. "We'll just start our own label. If you wanted losers, you picked the wrong band!" Fashion Week is fast approaching, and Angel has never won the coveted Palm d-Harajuku, in spite of competing for five years in a row. This year will be different, for this year she has seen the elusive WHITE GLITTER GLIDER in the park next to Harajuku city. She's horrified when fashion wunderkid Chique Zeke captures the little beast first. Using the magical sparkly glitter that comes off the glider, he designs a winning line of hats. Angel manages to grab the glider from Zeke, which leads her to discover the little creature isn't magic at all. His sparkles are just sugar. Using her own natural talents and inspiration she puts together an amazing line of clothes for Fashion Week, only to lose the coveted Palm to a guy who wears his pants on his head. Angel is okay with that. Now she can find some inspiration by doing what comes naturally - relaxing with her friends.
8 The Fantabulous Five / Mist-ery Guest

HJ5 play a comic convention dressed as the superhero group The Fantabulous Five, when a freak meteor strikes, giving them superpowers! They set out to use their powers for good, fighting a posse of cosplayers causing trouble around the city. However the girls find they're just no good at being superheroes. HJ5 head to Monster Pet Island for a gig Rudie's booked, only to discover that it's all a plot by uber-fan Tizzie Lizzie to trap them. The girls must solve puzzles cooked up by Tizzie Lizzie to escape.

The imaginary friends' frolicking wreaks havoc with the girls' attempts to put together a song and routine for the Stodgie Podge Oatmeal gig they're scheduled to play, until G realizes that having fun is the way to actually create great work. Convinced that the place holds a special magic for the band, G insists that HJ5 return to where they wrote their very first song, a remote cabin at the snowy top of Mount Mongo. But when their music triggers an avalanche that awakens a giant snowman, G and the gang soon find themselves fighting off his army of regenerating snowmen. Fixated on finding that special magic, a stubborn G refuses to leave the cabin, forcing herself and the others to continue battling the endless attacking snowman. When Rudie convinces G that the real magic is inside her and not the cabin, G is able to let of her fixation and make peace with the Giant Snowman by agreeing to leave his mountain.
10 The Gnome Ultimatum / G Force
1/12/18
HJ5 are the victims of saboteurs who tamper with their sound equipment and shorten their microphones. They discover that two adorable garden gnomes are the culprits. The gnomes were once a singing duo who let fame get to their heads, and were trying to make a comeback. After failing to take what they want from HJ5 by force, the girls take pity on the little duo, and allow them to record their comeback album in their studio. Rudie books a gig for HJ5 to play on a planet called Red Sparkle. Unfortunately, they're going to have to race Angelica and The Kimberlys (who have teamed up) to beat them there. HJ5 plant their flag on the planet first, so enraging Angelica that she unleashes a sparkly red tornado on them. This doesn't stop HJ5, though. They battle the tornado, and separation, and successfully perform for their new alien fans.
11 KuuKuuBall Run / Feline's Finest

Rudie's big plan to get in with Twisty T is for HJ5 to enter his prized cat, DJ McFurry, into a cat show. When the cantankerous kitty gets lost, the girls must find him, while Baby tries to get her monster pet Willy to pass for a cat. When Rudie tries to use the Kawaiifier on Willy, he ends up kawaiifying everything in sight, including himself, and the recovered DJ McFurry. Fortunately, Twisty T loves his kitty's new look. And Rudie wins the cat show.
12 Studio No-No / The Gig is Up
2/2/18
HJ5 are performing at S-Q Studios, where many of the city's greatest acts recorded their final album. As it turns out, the studio is a trap set by Madame Shhhout, who is dedicated to ending all the pesky musical noise in Harajuku. She teleports HJ5 into soundproof bubbles in the blissfully quiet Bubble Land. HJ5 manage to escape from their bubbles. They counter-attack with an amazingly catchy pop song. Although it charms Madame Shhhout's Squirrel Minions, it's not enough. G and her team free all of the musical acts trapped in Bubble Land, and everyone joins in on the song. It's so amazing even Madame Shhhout sings along. Her voice, however, is horrible. When she hits the final high note, it pops all the bubbles in Bubble Land. HJ5 are planning their best concert ever, which Love will digitally distribute around the world. General No-Fun is intent on preventing this from happening, and he pulls out all the stops. During the concert he tries to bombard them with dirt, blind them with their own light display and drop garbage on their show from the giant Rudie helium balloon he stole. The girls defeat each of his plots while putting on an amazing concert. He turns off the electricity so they can't distribute the concert footage and steals their live audience. HJ5 refuse to quit, finishing the concert in style. Disappointed that they didn't broadcast, HJ5 leave the stadium. On his way out, Rudie spills a drink on the power grid, and the show footage is sent out. Unbeknownst to HJ5, they have become international media sensations!
