About this show

Psych stars James Roday as Shawn Spencer, a police consultant who solves crimes with powers of observation so acute that the police think he's psychic - or so he lets them believe. Also stars Dulé Hill as Shawn's best friend and reluctant accomplice, and Corbin Bernsen as Shawn's disapproving father, who ironically was the one who honed his son's "observation" skills as a child. Also featured are Timothy Omundson, Maggie Lawson and Kirsten Nelson.

This show ran during the ages of 14-21 for me, and when watching re runs years later on Amazon Prime, it always amazes when I notice parts of my now adult (27 year old personality) was influenced by the characters and stories from the show. And if nothing else, then for that I am forever grateful. Not too mention, the writing genius that somehow managed to captivate minds of teenagers with entire scenes of the show full of obscure references to events, and films from before they were born.😋 A

Funny and serious when it needs to be but still maintains that classical psych humour. One of the bestest shows around by far!
