This series was ahead of its time. A single bachelor uncle takes custody of his nephew and two nieces. They addressed all kinds of social issues with dignity and in a very thoughtful, compassionate intelligent way. And it didn't hurt that Brian Keith was not hard on the eyes. I highly recommend it for young viewer. The writers captured both what it was like to be a kid in the 60s and I hope that there will be a new generation of Family Affair fans.
