I have mixed emotions about this show. One one hand, I just adore the many different cultures (but not so much the racial tension, that is handled tactfully though), one of my favourite things is lots of cultures together and celebrating it, I've always been that way. But some of the story lines are convoluted and a bit long winded. The most enjoyable parts for me are the moments between Alak, Christie and both their families.
