Brilliant actress.have met.a genuine woman.though a great drama.NOT really real life.the bad people generally get away with THESE n humanity crimes. In my experiences anyway. Sarah does a fantastic job in all of her character's she's so real and caring.unlike real-life people again. I met her when working on drama in down key high Wycombe. Something about a magic cake.I was paid to keep the electric going in actor's loos.lol.would luv too meet her again. More personally n.off duty. Forgive the pun.Sarah was

I delayed watching this because so often has BBC drama underwhelmed and played it too safe to placate it's mass audience. This is really good. Solid plot, realistic dialogue, Great acting and not too many cast members straight out of EastEnders. Sarah Lancashire could be everybody's mum. Season 2 is more toned down in true BBC fashion but still watchable.

I've been a cop for 30yrs and this is the first police 'drama' I have considered compulsive viewing for the Home Secretary. It really IS like this every single day. I am knackered. Thank you for making my daily working day a reality.
