Ageing swingers Donald and Jacqueline Stewart return to the hotel for another holiday and meet the new guests. There's the Garvey family, whose teenage daughter Chantelle is hiding a secret, newly married Kat and Martin, gay couple Troy and Gavin, and middle-aged Geoffrey with his mother, who he likes to call his PA.Everyone comes together for dinner and an evening of "quality" entertainment at Neptune's bar, but Chantelle brings the evening to a premature close when she collapses doing a Karaoke number and Janice finds out she is pregnant.

Martin and Kate set off for a trip into the town centre, but the outing ends in disaster when they keep taking wrong turns. Meanwhile, everyone seems to be worried about Chantelle's pregnancy - except Madge, who's convinced it's a deliberate attempt to ruin her holiday. Geoff tries to break a world record and Gavin and Troy are left open-mouthed at the evening's entertainment at Neptune's.

Janice finally comes to terms with Chantelle's pregnancy and begins to bond with her daughter. Donald and Jacqueline try to hide their worries when Kelly announces her engagement to Mateo though it seems their fears may be rooted in reality. All-day sunbather Madge struggles to understand the risk she is taking and Geoff does a duet with his mother at the karaoke.

Madge gives the wrong impression to Donald and Jacqueline, resulting in an awkward bedroom encounter. After an amazing night Martin feels like his marriage is back on track, but Kate can't remember any of it. Troy gets rather drunk and starts flirting with Mateo. And at Neptune's Janice becomes suspicious of a woman who Mick met earlier.

Mick forces his family to enter a pub quiz with a big cash prize, and is shocked to win the money. A furious Oracle demands a recount - and turns nasty when his request is refused. Madge fails to keep quiet after Kate tells her about Martin's infertility, and Donald tries to reassure Gavin about Troy.

The Garveys have a trip to the beach, where a cash-strapped Mick falls victim to a con, and later receives even worse news from a mystery photographer. Kate is scarred for life by an incident in the swimming pool and Martin tells her he thinks her fling with Mateo has livened up their relationship. And Geoff decides it's time he stopped going on holiday with his mum.

Everybody's back at the Solanas for more sun, sangria and swinging. The Garvey's return with several new additions: Telle's baby 'Coolio' and Madge's new boyfriend Mel - Didsbury's answer to Julio Iglesias. Their holiday does not get off to the best of starts when Mel's diving competition with the Oracle leads to a near fatal accident. And Kate and Martin have decamped to a nearby picturesque village, but they find more than a chocolate on the pillow in their room.

The Oracle attempts to apologise to Mel for the diving accident, but this leads to a bit of a Kung-Fu punch up. Instead of escaping from the resort Martin and Kate find themselves stuck in their room babysitting Telle's baby, Coolio. And after his near death experience Mel abandons the idea of "having a crack at Wuthering Heights" at the karaoke night and instead asks a question that shocks everyone -- especially Madge.

Holiday fever takes its toll as Madge seems determined to marry a man she has only known for five minutes, despite Janice's pleas. Kate encounters Mateo again but after telling him that last years traumatic affair was simply a moment of madness it becomes clear that Mateo doesn't actually remember her. And an arm-wrestling match organised by The Oracle and his Mum turns into Fight Club with a chance for some to settle old scores.

The gang sets off on what is believed to be a free trip to see a bullfight - an experience that upsets the animal-lovers but brings out the savage in Madge, but they all soon discover that there's no such thing as a free trip in Benidorm. Back at the hotel, The Oracle and Telle strike up an unlikely friendship.

Mateo tries to get back with his old flame, Kelly. Unfortunately Kelly's mother Sylvia is in town and she doesn't suffer fools gladly. Madge accuses Sylvia of messing with her man and a slanging match leads to their squaring up in their mobility chairs for a terrifying Western shoot out around the pool. Meanwhile Martin is suspicious that Kate is trying to get back with Mateo and breaks into the bedroom he believes they are using, but instead he's confronted with a surprising scene.

Janice and Mick try to make Madge and Mel have second thoughts about their wedding, but Janice puts her foot in it causing the couple to snub the entire family. To make things worse for Janice, Mick has forgotten their wedding anniversary so to make herself feel better Janice enjoys the attentions of Jack, a young handsome admirer. And Donald and Jacqueline help Kelly to get her own back on Mateo in their own special way.

Kate disappears with her luggage causing concern for Martin, and Gavin's mother Dorothy arrives for a visit. Jack comes to the complex in search of Janice to declare his love for her, and drink interferes with the course of true love when the Oracle has his big date with Telle.

On the eve of their wedding, Madge and Mel take a stroll along a romantic, moonlit beach, only to be very rudely interrupted. The wedding day dawns and Janice has a pep-talk with Madge - she is the only one of Madge's five daughters still speaking to her. Assured that her mother is making the right decision, she takes her place at the beach ceremony, but what is supposed to be the most memorable day of Madge and Mel's life proceeds to become memorable for all the wrong reasons.

Our holiday makers are back for a free week's holiday in Benidorm that they received as compensation after being taken hostage by a drug dealer last year. Martin has a very different new girlfriend Brandy who is desperate to break out of The Solana and have a good time. Meanwhile Mel enlists the help of Mick to open his new mobility shop with disastrous results.

On a trip to the waterfalls of Callosa, Mick upsets Janice and it looks like their relationship might not survive this fight. Brandy plays a practical joke on Martin which results in him running through the waterfalls naked. And Noreen becomes convinced that her son, The Oracle, is gay.

The Oracle is given the run around by a blind date with a very big secret. Brandy seduces Mateo when Martin isn't looking. Meanwhile Mel decides he is going to buy a local tourist spot Peacock Island but is having trouble finding the mysterious Spanish owner.

When Madge's estranged daughter Valda appears at The Solana, Madge is convinced she is after Mel's money. Meanwhile a cockney conman called Gary starts working his way through the holidaymakers, and Madge is given something to settle her stomach with extremely unsettling results.

Gavin discovers that Troy is apparently cheating on him. The Oracle's tall tales get him in trouble with the police. Meanwhile Diana comes to help her recently conned son Martin but only succeeds in making him feel much, much worse. And Mel and Madge end up taking to the stage at The Benidorm Palace.

Practical joker Wink McAndrew, an old friend of Donald's checks in, but Jacqueline is concerned that his appearance might have dangerous consequences. The Oracle tells his mum Noreen he wants to move out of home and Martin asks Kate to take him back. Meanwhile Madge and Mel decide they want to stay and live in Benidorm to pursue a new business interest, but first they have to convince the Mayor to give them permission.

The Garvey's descend upon the Solana to stay with Madge at her luxury villa. But when they find the villa's been sold to none other than Cilla Black, the hunt for Madge begins with some unexpected results. Mateo is introduced to his new cross-dressing workmate Les/Lesley, and Liam develops a crush on a pretty tourist, Natalie.

Noreen returns to Benidorm with her irritable daughter in tow, who manages to alienate the Garvey's and cause trouble at the water park. Les impresses in his new role, much to the annoyance of Mateo who hatches a plan to get him sacked. In an effort to boost Madge's finances, Donald arranges a whip round, and her reaction is typically unappreciative.

Gavin is baffled when freeloading Kenneth suddenly seems to have money in abundance, and when he sees him taking strange men into his room his suspicions go into overdrive. Mateo prepares for his first water aerobics class, but when Donald has a funny turn in the pool he is forced to ask Les for help. The Garvey's get a shock when they are approached by a gangster, who tells them that they have taken on Mel Harvey's debt, and they find themselves in a make or break situation as they attempt a very risky bet to pay off what they owe.

The resort is hit by a freak storm and Les has arranged some bingo as entertainment. Pauline's boredom leads the reformed alcoholic to hit the bottle and the drunken insults follow. Natalie is still having man trouble as she juggles the attention of both Liam and Mateo. Both of them are determined to win her affections - who will she pick?

The sun is shining in Benidorm and spirits are high as eighties night approaches, with special guests Bananarama. There is exciting news for Madge as the chance to lease a bar in Benidorm comes up, but will she be brave enough to take the plunge? Les persuades Mateo to go on a double date, with truly disastrous results, and as Bananarama prepare to take to the stage they find themselves with an unexpected new member.

Events take a dramatic turn when Donald goes missing and his clothes are found on the nudist beach, along with a note for Jacqueline. Preparations for the launch of Madge's new bar are in full swing, until local idiot Lucky Kev turns up with free tickets to a local theme park. Pauline turns to alcohol again as she anxiously awaits the outcome of her divorce and Troy turns up, bringing life-changing news.

The Solana is expecting a new manager - Joyce. Can she restore order? Why isn't Mick with his family, and can Donald come back from the dead?

Cyril Babcock takes charge of a dance competition at the Solana. Jack would like to be partners with Janice but will Mick turn up in time to stop him?

Mick is horrified when his hopeless brother Pete and crusty dad turn up for a stag night. And Trudy gets some unexpected mouth-to-mouth.

Trudy tries to be lady-like for 24 hours and Madge may have been kidnapped by a tall dark stranger. Can Mateo cook paella for hotel critic Victor without killing lovable chicken Meryl?

Six pretty young Olympic swimmers are staying at the Solana with disciplinarian coach Hazel. Trouble brews when they find themselves on an 18-30 booze cruise, and everyone ends up in the pool.

Who's been bad-mouthing the Solana to the local press? Donald and Jacqueline are on the case. And Madge prepares for a marriage of convenience to restore the Garvey's fortunes.

Kenneth gets very angry with Joyce. Their cat-fight is witnessed by Barbara Simmonds - a hotel inspector who could award the Solana that coveted 4th star.

The Garvey's only get as far as Alicante airport before their holiday starts to go wrong, while Donald and Jacqueline stage a protest when Joyce Temple Savage refuses to give them a room. Kenneth is terrified by strange messages he's been receiving at Blow n Go, until Liam and Lesley intervene.

A cocktail waiter who's looking for work threatens to jeopardise Mateo's reputation. Michael Garvey is led astray by Tiger, the new friend he's hooked up with at The Solana, while Mick is still locked up at Alicante Airport.

The grand reopening of Blow n Go is interrupted by a rowdy UK stag party, complete with old Solana regular, Martin Weedon, as the best man. Benidorm's 'Sticky Vicky' is on holiday, so Donald, Jacqueline, Tiger and Michael decide to give the stag party a night of entertainment that they'll never forget.

Joyce has set up a volleyball pitch by the Solana pool. Umpire Mateo bends the rules of the game so that he can win a bet he's made with young Tiger and Michael, but he soon regrets it when Tiger's parents enter the karaoke competition at Neptune's that night.

Donald and Jacqueline's friend Big Donna has passed away. Before scattering her ashes, Donald and Jacqueline are determined to give her a big send off. But with Joyce Temple-Savage on a mystery date, and Lesley in charge of the Solana, nothing goes according to plan.

Madge is absorbing some dreadful news she's received from her doctor, while Kenneth decides he's going on a massive health kick. The Solana guests go head to head in a Man vs Food competition, organised by Cyril Babcock, who Joyce has now appointed as Assistant Manager at the Solana.

Joyce's boss, Crystal Henessy-Vass, arrives to inspect the 4-Star Solana. Donald and Jacqueline have a surprise guest of their own, while Mateo and Lesley are left in charge of a group of Dutch VIPs. Tiger and Michael come to blows over a woman, and their parents come to blows with each other.

As the series begins, the Solana staff are suffering pay cuts and the Garveys think Madge has a stalker.

The Garveys meet Buck A.Roo, who reveals a few shocks for the family. Meanwhile, Kenneth takes advantage of a psychic customer - Psychic Sue, and holds a seance to contact his mum - but the message he receives appears to be for someone else.

The Oracle and Noreen are back in town: they've heard about the big quiz that Lesley is hosting. Clive's sister Terri arrives for a holiday, too, while Blow & Go branches out into botox - and both Mateo and Joyce want in on the action.

Liam's mum and Les's ex Gloria arrives in Benidorm to lure Liam back to the UK. Kenneth is after a cure for Joyce's mystery illness, while Glynn has found the perfect day out for him and Jacqueline. The Oracle is hoping to impress everyone by walking on hot coals.

Solana Group CEO Crystal Hennessy-Vass sweeps into the resort and takes Joyce out to lunch.

Jason is back but what is his connection to Janey York? Clive gets swindled out of 5000 euros by dodgy estate agents Monty and Melanie. The Oracle and Noreen are stuck in a lift, discovering all sorts about each other.

Mateo's Mother-in-Law is threatening to kill him. Glynn's wife arrives at the Solana and Liam is made an offer he can't refuse.

The Solana Hotel welcomes the Dawson family for the first time and bad Grandad Eddie is already causing trouble. Tiger brings along a new pal Joey who’s never been abroad before. Meanwhile Joyce Temple Savage is on the lookout for a new member of staff. She must choose between the efficient, goody two shoes Amber and the completely incapable but outrageously flirtatious Marcus.

Joyce has been let down by her first-aid instructor and must find someone else to train the staff. Kenneth could be in for a windfall after the death of Uncle Herbert. Troy and Jacqueline have a plan to save the salon.

The Maltbys are back at the Solana and Geoff gets some terrible news from back home as his status as quiz champion ‘The Oracle’ is revoked. Pauline must battle her own demons as her period of sobriety is being seriously tested by the hotel’s all-inclusive policy. There is a property auction on at the Solana.

Pauline falls spectacularly off the wagon to the dismay of Noreen and Geoff. Geoff stages an intervention but not before Pauline has drunkenly befriended Jodie who was left under the not-so-watchful eye of Eddie. The Solana wristbands are being replaced by a new and improved I.D card system.

Tiger and Joey attempt to climb a mountain on the outskirts of Benidorm and soon have a run in with a fellow hiker who takes exception to their seemingly loutish behaviour. The Maltby family decide to cut their holiday short. Romance is in the air at the Solana with both Eddie and Rob bagging themselves a date, much to the amusement of the rest of the family.

It’s the Benidorm fancy dress bonanza and the whole town is dressed to impress. Lesley, however, is down in the dumps as he is missing Liam more than ever. Amber and the staff hatch a plan to cheer him up. Troy thinks he is being stalked by his ex, Gavin. However, when Kenneth discovers Gavin is on holiday in Venice, the threat soon turns out to be much more sinister.

Sir Henry arrives at the Solana to ask Joyce for a favour, The Benidorm Palace has had a power cut and he needs somewhere to host the 'Pride of Benidorm' Awards… tonight. Sammy Valentino is the sleazy D-list celebrity chosen to host the Awards and he soon starts causing trouble with his cheesy patter and wandering eye. Jodie’s acting career gets a boost when she is accepted into stage school but how will the family afford the astronomical school fees? Eddie thinks he might have the solution.

The Dawson's are back for another Benidorm all-inclusive holiday and the Solana certainly knows they have arrived when Eddie makes a shattering entrance and Joyce and the Solana staff are left to mop up the consequences. Eddie is caught short in the clothing department as a result and Sheron's fashion taste is put into question when he asks her to pick him up some new clothes.

Joyce has been asked to go to a conference in Barcelona which at first seems likes like a welcome break until she finds out that she has to make a speech in Spanish. She enlists Mateo for some help with the language but it looks like it's going to be more difficult than she thought.

When The Solana's meat supplier lets Joyce down she turns to Lesley to help her out, who in turn enlists Mateo; maybe there is a profit to be made on the situation? They draw a blank from Mr. Wu but Mateo has a friend Wolfgang with a farm, what could possibly go wrong?

Loretta takes Jodie back to the UK for her advert shoot but she has offered Rob her swanky Hotel Beltoro room in case he gets lucky! One of the beach bars should be the perfect place to pull with wingmen Tiger and Joey there to help out.

Joyce has asked Sir Henry to step in whilst she is at her conference in Barcelona and Les has asked Neville an old mate from the Geordie Bar to cover for him whilst he is back in the UK. Can Sir Henry run a steady ship or is it a chance for a few pranks?

Pauline is pregnant but who is the daddy as she confesses to an eventful murder mystery weekend? Cue the Oracle's golden opportunity to hone his sleuthing skills. Sir Henry is still standing in for Joyce and the Solana is due to put on a psychic convention, Sam sees a chance to boost her income but Psychic Sue smells a rat.

A previously unobserved religious festival means no fun or alcohol is to be had anywhere in Benidorm. The Solana staff reluctantly try to enforce the ban but all the guests are determined to ignore it. Lead by Pauline and Loretta, the search is on for some fun.

Concerns from the Blow & Go team and Sam for Liam's wellbeing leads to confusion when they fear he has joined a self-help group to confront a traumatic childhood. Rob's rubbish exam results makes him question his future and he asks Tiger for a job at his Dad's company. Now he has to break the news to his family that he is giving up university to become a building labourer.

Baby Jesus has contaminated the swimming pool with weed killer and all the guests have to be evacuated. The chips are down as Crystal Hennessey-Vass pressures Joyce to sort things out ASAP.

Anticipation is in the air at the Solana as Joyce and Monty's big day has arrived; however, when things go awry at the wedding, Kenneth volunteers to save the day.

The wedding party gets back after a messy night out with no sign of Kenneth, only for Jacqueline's concern to turn to joy when he turns up after 'the night of his life'.

When Joyce appoints Monty as the new Entertainments Manager, he plans a magical evening at Neptune's. Meanwhile, the Dawsons continue to speculate about Cyd's motives.

Joyce is furious with Monty after a chaotic evening of magic, but a chance meeting with legendary entertainer Sammy Valentino might get him his job back. Meanwhile. Callum decides to go up-market and sets his sights on an older professional lady, and Eddie adds to the family discourse when he catches a glimpse of Cyd in the changing room next door. Elsewhere, Liam and Kenneth are not impressed with Jacqueline's latest old school business venture for Blow & Go, but it certainly seems to be pulling in the punters.

When Noreen and Pauline return to the Solana, Pauline's writer's block disappears on finding her muse. Meanwhile, Monty is worried about Sammy, but how can he lose 'the fear'?

Sammy is excited after his comeback performance, and tries to persuade Monty that he is ready for an evening show - but an encounter with an obsessed fan gives him second thoughts. Meanwhile, Noreen senses the arrival of her twin sister Doreen, and Rob dashes to the airport to win back Cyd.

Joyce is furious with Sam and Monty after Sammy's disastrous performances in Neptunes, and she soon finds out that Monty has given him a Solana contract. Meanwhile, Doreen jumps the gun by sending Pauline's novel to be published, and Sheron and Billy take a trip down memory lane and spend a day reliving their youth. Elsewhere, Denis and Nigel are increasingly reluctant to arrest Lesley, and Mateo worries about having to go on another concubine cruise with Crystal Hennessy-Vass.

Monty is in need of a new job after being sacked by Joyce, and has to decide whether to swallow his pride and go to Sir Henry, or see if Mr Wu has a fitting position for him. Meanwhile, Loretta and Eddie make secret plans for an anniversary party for Billy and Sheron back in the UK, but it looks as if the couple are making plans of their own. Elsewhere, things are not going well for Kenneth as he wakes up in Blow & Go after a big night out, only to realise that the builders have inadvertently bricked him in.

In the final episode, a strike in the airport causes panic at the Solana, and the Dawsons rush to catch their flight with their anniversary plans now in jeopardy as they may not make it back to the UK to celebrate. Meanwhile, Kenneth is on a warpath for Temple-Savage after his accidental imprisonment the previous day, and Joyce worries about the rumours that Crystal Hennessy-Vass may be letting the Solana go. Elsewhere, Sam's old flame Angelo is in town, and misunderstandings are finally resolved between Monty and Joyce.

With Mel and The Oracle laid up in hospital, Madge and Janice set off to visit them, only to be abducted by a wanted criminal posing as a taxi driver. When Madge's son in law, Mick, tries to stage a rescue with the help of the other Solana regulars, they find themselves in a siege situation. The only question is will anybody be able to save them? And will they be able to do so using a helicopter?

It's Christmas on the Costa Blanca and where better to spend it than in Benidorm with some of The Solana's best loved regulars and some very special guests.

First screened in 2007 in a 30-minute format, Benidorm has grown to be hugely popular with ITV viewers and has been BAFTA nominated and won numerous TV awards over the years including two National TV Awards. The show's creator and writer Derren Litten guides viewers around Benidorm to reveal all about how the show was created whilst visiting the show's many real life locations.
