Ulysses Zane (Uly) is struggling in the dating scene in LA until he goes on an out-of-this world date with Gabriel. His best friend, Carly, is striving to become an actress and secretly works as a cam girl on the side. Uly's roommate, Ford, is an aspiring screenwriter dating Severine, an astrobiological theorist, who suggests they have an open relationship. Ulysses is haunted by ominous nightmares.

Ulysses researches information about alien reptile conspiracies and gets ghosted by Gabriel. Ford catches his big break as a screenwriter. Carly attends acting class. Severine and Ford explore non-monogamy.

Severine reconnects with her ex-lover Mustafa, who comes to town for a visit. Famous director Otto West convinces Ford to do a risqué photo shoot. Uly is haunted by Gabriel. Carly partakes in a private lesson from her acting teacher, Frank.

Ford is torn about his relationship with Severine and drags Ulysses with him to a men’s group, where he discovers how to be more in tune with his feelings. Carly interviews new roommates. Ulysses has an unsettling encounter with a homeless woman while on his security-guard rounds at an auto graveyard.

Ford gets invited to a lavish party in Palm Springs and convinces Severine, Ulysses and Carly to come along. Ulysses has an encounter with renowned alien expert Mitchell Kent at a book signing. Carly meets artist Leif and is tempted to cheat on her boyfriend, Jethro.

[STARZ] It’s the hottest day of the year. Ulysses helps Carly with her new web series, “Sluts.” Ford finds out Severine’s true feelings about him. Carly and Jethro explore a new area of their relationship.

[STARZ] Ulysses meets social worker Isaac and falls for him fast. Severine surprises Ford by taking him to an “Eyes Wide Shut” party. Ford discovers that his photo shoot with Otto is on display for the whole world. Carly’s cam-girl adventures take an unexpected turn.

[STARZ] Carly takes Jethro to a BDSM sex dungeon. Severine wants Ford to make her sexual dreams come true. Uly and Isaac have an amazing first date. Ford feels ambivalent about his non-monogamous relationship with Severine.

[STARZ] Severine has to go on a business trip to Roswell for an indefinite period, and Ford is devastated. Uly’s relationship with Isaac intensifies. Carly runs into Leif, the artist she flirted with in Palm Springs. Jethro discovers the truth about Carly and her cam-girl “hobby.”

[STARZ] Uly and Isaac’s relationship disintegrates when Isaac learns about Gabriel. Carly fights with Jethro about her camming. Ford wants to know where he and Severine stand. Carly gets a big career break from the online popularity of her web series. Severine leaves for her business trip. Uly has a disturbing encounter with the homeless dude from his nightmares.
