About this show

Count Arthur Strong is a sitcom based on the successful radio series 'Count Arthur Strong's Radio Show'. Count Arthur is a confused and muddled one-time variety star who has delusions of grandeur and a jumbled delivery of words. Arthur's life has recently been brightened by the presence of Michael, the son of a famous comedian. Michael is meeting up with Arthur to learn more about the double-act he and his father had, so he can include the stories in the biography he is writing about his dad. Unfortunately for Michael, Arthur doesn't do anything quickly, and so Michael spends many more days at Arthur's house than he expected to.

Absolutely hilarious comedy, and I am normally very critical of comedy on the BBC, but this is a definite exception to that rule. Totally madcap, but at the same time genius. It may not suit all tastes, but once you 'get' the premise, I assure you, you'll love it!

Love Count Arthur Strong. Just saw The Sound of Mucus and had the honour of meeting The Count (Steve Delaney), as well as Eggy (Dave Plimmer). I absolutely crease up laughing at this show!

One of the best TV comedies ever. If you can reference if with the radio show, it is even better. Hilarious for most adults and some children's taste.
