The Kilcher family lives on a 600-acre homestead in Alaska. For four generations, they have lived off the land in a subsistence lifestyle. I love this show. The family is real and they help each other to survive. Their comic relief helps in stressful situations, and the camera work is incredible. I get lost while watching...what an escape ! Thank you !
