10/3/08
Season-only
GT inherits a statue from his grandfather and becomes convinced that it is a lucky charm and is responsible for his great racing. He gradually figures out that his winning streak is due to hard work and skill. GT doesn’t need the charm to win - he just needs a little faith in himself! Dash is given the honor of announcing the play-by-play at the upcoming 'Just For Fun' Race, but it turns out he’s terrified of speaking in public. His Turbo Dog friends try to help him, giving him advice that would work for them, but clearly doesn’t work for Dash. Dressing up, doing voice exercises, telling jokes, having signature moves, etc. Dash ends up looking and feeling quite silly. He learns that he just has to be himself. Once he figures this out, Dash's play-by-play is just as fun as the 'Just For Fun' Race itself. Dash is terrified of speaking in public. Their surprise leads Stinkbert to doubt himself, and he consults a fancy recipe book to create something for the competition, adding ingredients that he enjoys - like a rotting shoe. The other Turbo Dogs are not exactly supportive of his endeavours, and a dejected Stinkbert decides to bow out of the competition. But Five steps in and advises Stinkbert to cook what he knows and loves. Five also explains to the other Turbo Dogs that everyone has their own taste in food, and that even though they may not find Stinkbert’s food appealing, other dogs might. Stinkbert – bolstered by Five’s encouragement – comes up with a great dish all his own! The Turbo Dogs all pitch in to plan and arrange a party for the unveiling of a statue of Racerville’s founder. All of them, that is, except Strut. He has grudgingly volunteered for the task of delivering all the invitations, but is too busy loafing around and putting it off. After the dogs reminds him that everyone is counting on him to deliver the invitations, he realises that he needs to step up to his responsibilities. He gets them delivered just in time, and it doesn’t matter that he is too exhausted from delivering the invitations to race when there’s cake to be had!

Finally, when Rock does take the wheel for himself, Dash is disappointed to learn that his hero Rock can barely drive a car at all! In anticipation of the Cross Country Rally, Sarge is making the rounds making sure the Turbo Dogs are making adequate preparations. As he is doing so, he notices that his friends are startled by his, well... distinctive laugh. He becomes self-conscious and embarrassed about his laugh. Sarge tries first to change his laugh, and then tries not to laugh at all. The rally commences, but fog has enveloped the course and the dogs get utterly and completely lost. 11/21/08
Season-only

They each excitedly discuss their finds with other dogs: Stinkbert confides in Strut, while GT tells Dash. The two groups surreptitiously go on their own treasure hunts. They continuously cross paths during their race to find the treasure and realize that it would have been faster and easier to work together. When the treasure turns out to be antique car parts, they happily decide to work together to restore their antique car in time for the big antique car show. After too many near wins at the racetrack Stinkbert is discouraged and decides to quit racing for good! The other dogs try their best to convince him not to give up, but he has made up his mind. It is clear, however, that Stinkbert doesn’t quite have racing out of his system. He subconsciously builds a racetrack at the dump, “drives” his pizza as if it were a steering wheel, and soups up the Racerville race track lawn mower in true Turbo dog style. When he shows up at the track with his modified lawn mower, everyone cheers – Stinkbert is back! He realises that doing what you love has its own rewards – and that winning isn't everything. You can take the stink out of racing, but you can't take the racing out of Stinky!

Eventually, the rest of the dogs get fed up with Strut changing the rules all the time, and leave him to go get pizza. Strut, realising that racing by oneself isn’t much fun, goes in search of them – but they’ve gone to the farm to set up their own obstacle course! Strut follows them there and asks to race with them – and they do after he promises to not change the rules while they are racing. He admits that he only wanted to win, and realises how that made the game unfair and not fun for the others. The dogs see an item in the newspaper saying that King Golden Lab of the Great Canine Island is searching for relatives as he has no heir, and remark how much the king looks like Stinkbert. This idea sparks Stinkbert’s imagination, and Stinkbert sets about researching his new regal role. When he starts insisting that everyone start treating him as a royal, they start avoiding him.
