This show is generally very likeable but Season 1 is truly superb for one reason. John Shea's Lex Luther. Possibly the best interpretation of the character ever, despite the full head of hair. All the characters are well cast and the show has plenty of charm, focused primarily on the relationships between characters with the light action secondary. Superman is a tough role to fill but Dean Cain does a great job of making the character his own. Not quite a version of Superman right out of DC Comics but there is plenty of fun to be had and the series plays out well.

I love this show the chemistry between Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher is incredible more for the romantics than action seekers but still holds up well even almost 30 years on
