1 Blow Me Down

After a sailing lesson with PENNY, NORMAN thinks he’s the best sailor ever and disregarding a warning from PENNY takes DILYS out for a pleasure cruise in the SKIFF. Meanwhile STATION OFFICER STEELE has a new kite, but isn’t having much luck flying it even with the wind picking up. MANDY, JAMES and SARAH soon show him how it’s done, but when STEELE takes the string back the kite ends up on the roof of the FLOOD’S house and STEELE gets stuck trying to get it down again.
2 Pontypandy Extreme

NORMAN is devastated when TREVOR accidentally runs over NORMAN’S skateboard in his BUS. DILYS says he has to wait until his birthday to get a replacement, but NORMAN isn’t prepared to wait that long and decides to try and retrieve the coins at the bottom of the wishing well in the valley so that he can buy himself a new one. Meanwhile, at the fire station, TOM is teaching the team how to abseil. SAM and PENNY are fast learners but ELVIS is having a bit of a problem with heights.
3 Elvis Sings the Blues

When ELVIS breaks his leg dancing around the Fire Station, he starts to wonder if he’s really cut out to be a fireman. With ELVIS out of action, STATION OFFICE STEELE is back on the job and leads the team in JUPITER to rescue MIKE FLOOD who has slipped whilst mending the aerial on the roof and is dangling precariously from his roof.
4 Fireworks for Mandy
1/1/09
While out playing hide and seek on the mountains with NORMAN, MANDY finds a distress flare. NORMAN is eager to let it off, but MANDY is reluctant fearing it could be dangerous. NORMAN continues to goad MANDY and she almost gives in, but at the last minute resolves not to give in to peer pressure. This proves fortuitous when they discover PENNY stranded on the cliff having got trapped whilst abseiling. MANDY skilfully throws the flare to PENNY who lets it off, raising the alarm. SAM and ELVIS race to the rescue in JUPITER whilst TOM flies to the scene in the HELECOPTER. SAM is winched to the rescue to untangle PENNY and get her to safety. MANDY is crowned a hero for not letting the flare off and NORMAN concedes that she was right from the start.
5 Heap of Trouble

Everyone is very excited about the Pontypandy Flower and Vegetable show being held in the Flood’s Garden, to be judged by fireman Sam. Mike is entering a marrow that he’s been growing on his compost heap. But Mike is so busy that he doesn’t heed Sam’s advice about turning over his compost heap regularly to keep it from overheating as it rots. Meanwhile, Elvis is left in charge of Station Officer Steele’s tomato plant with chaotic results. When Mike removes his marrow, the air gets into the heap and starts a fire! Sam and Penny race to the rescue in Jupiter. With the fire out, Sam gets down to judging and Steele gets a very unexpected prize!
6 Stuck in the Muck

Whilst driving the children back from a school trip, TREVOR has a near miss with an animal on the road and steers his bus into a bog. With dusk drawing in TREVOR ignores everyone’s advice and decides to go out and find help. The parents of Pontypandy are getting anxious about their missing children and BRONWYN raises the alarm. Meanwhile TREVOR has become stuck in a bog himself!
7 Sausages Vs. Shrimps

TREVOR is planning a barbeque for the residents of Pontypandy and everyone is looking forward to his famous sausages. TOM, also a barbeque fan, offers to cook some of his special king prawns as well. NORMAN likes this idea and declares a barbeque cook-off with the winner being crowned Pontypandy barbeque champion.
8 Flood's Flood

Everyone in Pontypandy is looking forward to karaoke night. At the station, Fireman Sam and the team are taking part in a drill – today’s task is rescuing an old lady locked in a cupboard; and playing the role of the old lady is Station Officer Steele. Steele gets into the cupboard.
9 Stranded

Mandy Flood and Norman Price head off to the beach with their buckets and nets challenging each other to see who will obtain the best catch of the day. Norman takes the lead collecting crabs and fish but when Mandy wanders off she comes across the catch of the day – a whale, stranded on the beach! When Norman doesn’t believe Mandy, she finds Charlie and they decide they need Fireman Sam’s help.
10 Off Duty Sam

Norman Price is adamant that he’s going to win the Spooking Competition by out-scaring everyone else but Mandy Flood’s confident that she’ll be victorious – she won’t be fooled by Norman’s tricks.
13 Poorly Penny

It’s FIREMAN SAM’s day off and Pontypandy Firestation is being manned by ELVIS and PENNY, who is battling a nasty cold. Meanwhile the JONES family are enjoying a barbeque on the beach when they spot LION on the boathouse roof. They call for the fire service to rescue their adventurous cat. Penny refuses to let her cold get the better of her and insists of accompanying Elvis on the call. Sam looks up from his digging as Jupiter races past, wishing that he was at work.
14 Pirates of Pontypandy

The Pontypandy kids – NORMAN, JAMES, MANDY and SARAH – are playing pirates at the beach. A dispute sees them split into boy pirates and girl pirates. The boy pirates plunder the pirate treasure, otherwise known as their picnic, and take to the seas in the rowing boat. Before they tuck into their picnic, they decide to take a ‘pirates nap’
15 Pontypandy Pioneers

FIREMAN SAM is due to take the children on a Pontypandy Pioneers scouting trip when he is called away to check on some crates that have washed up on the shore. Norman sees his chance to become the leader of the Pioneers, until Trevor volunteers and scuppers Norman’s ambitions.
16 Twitching the Night Away

ELVIS is booked to sing on a local TV show and dreams of life outside the Fire Service as a singing superstar. Meanwhile Trevor and Norman are off to the woods to look for the rare Scarlet Crested Waggle Warbler.
17 Double Trouble

Norman’s cousin Derek comes to stay and appears at first to be a gigantic goody-two shoes and he shows Norman up at every opportunity. Norman hatches a plan for revenge and sends Derek to pick some non-existent Pontypandy Pansies from the mountain. Meanwhile at the fire-station Elvis gets into a spot of bother with a chocolate cake.
18 Sailor Steele

Fireman Sam and the rest of the team are training Mike Flood and Charlie Jones to be reserve firemen, Station Officer Steele is very pleased with their progress. Both Charlie and Mike are itching to fight a fire but the training has prevented Charlie from going out in his fishing boat and there is no fish for the Wholefish Café. Charlie could use a hand catching all the fish so Station Officer Steele offers to help out.
19 Fireman James

Fireman Sam, Elvis and Penny are doing there routine checks on the fire hydrants around Pontypandy. Elvis is very excited as he persuades Sam to let him use the radio for the day. Meanwhile James and Sarah are playing fireman with their walkie talkies. James manages to tune in to the fire station’s radio waves to Jupiter’s radio.
20 Dily's Big Surprise

Norman descends from his bedroom with a football under one arm and a skateboard in the other, eager to get out into the Pontypandy sunshine and play with his friends. Before he can enter his mother’s shop and bolt through the door he sees that Bronwyn has given Dilys a present… It’s Dilys’s birthday! Norman has completely forgotten. On his way out Norman bumps into Sam. Norman is worried that Dilys will think that he is the worst son ever! Sam reassures Norman that there is still time and to call upon him if he can help in anyway.
21 Day at the Seaside

Station Officer Steele is taking the day off to go with Trevor and the gang to Crabscuttle cove at the seaside. Dilys has prepared a picnic and Mandy, Helen, Steele, Norman, Trevor and Dilys all pile into the bus. Station Officer Steele announces that he has plotted out the best route for Trevor to take. Trevor shows off his Sat Nav Sally. It can inform him of the best way with just a push of a button.
22 Model Plane

James has a new remote control aeroplane that he and Norman are playing with on the quayside. Norman is itching for a go but James is reluctant. Norman persuades James to let him do some high flying stunts with the plane as he thinks that James is being too boring with his flying style.
23 Three Legged Race

Norman And Dilys are practising for the Pontypandy three legged race. Dilys is not very good at it at all and Norman becomes very fed up. He hopes that he is not paired up with his mum when it comes to finding a partner for the race.
24 Norman's Ark
1/1/09
Norman wakes up one morning to find that the whole of Pontypandy is flooded! Fireman Sam is up with Tom Thomas in his helicopter surveying the extent of the flood. The Jones family are stranded on the Wholefish Café roof. Sam straps himself in the harness and lowers himself down from the helicopter to rescue them. Bronwyn is worried as Lion is missing and Charlie cannot find his boat.
25 Open Day
1/1/09
Today the Pontypandy Fire station is open to the public where everyone can see what a fireman/ firewoman do when they are not out at an emergency. Station Officer Steele is the master of ceremonies and he announces to everyone what will be going on around the fire station.
26 Mike's Rocket
1/1/09
Sam, Elvis and Penny are called to an emergency on the cliff! They arrive in no time following all the correct procedures. The training exercise has been a success. They are practicing for Mike’s big rocket launch that is happening that afternoon. Mike is showing off his amazing rocket to the children.
