As the new century unfolds, the duo takes a hard look at NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) and asks: is it worth it to keep this agency going?
4 Dolphins

6 Being Green

Corporations, schools, and even sports teams across the country are mandating sensitivity courses so that nobody will ever be offended again. And who, according to Penn and Teller, is behind all of this? Lawyers.
8 Stranger Danger

Child abduction, Amber Alert, not to mention dirty water and toxic toys. It's a wonder that anyone makes it out of childhood alive. Penn and Teller feel the world has never been a safer place, but they argue the parks are empty; kids don't ride their bikes to school; and more young people than ever are on anti-anxiety medication.
9 World Peace
8/14/08
In Penn and Teller's opinion, world peace is nothing but a utopian ideal - and a dangerous one at that. They believe world peace is simply contrary to human nature, no matter what activist Cindy Sheehan says.
10 Good Ol' Days
8/21/08
Ah, nostalgia! Imagine what happens when Penn and Teller follow three groups of people who live for the good old 1950s, the 1980s, and the Renaissance period!

The only two kinds of people who wouldn't like this show are people who don't care about any of the topics they've used for episodes, and very close minded people who disagree with their opinions. If you're open minded, and you have an interest in the topics, then you'll love it. If you can't handle having any of your opinions or beliefs challenged, then don't waste your time.

My concern's with the context of P&T's sources for the "PETA" episode. Their info comes from the Center for Consumer Freedom (CCF), an organization that lobbies for the meat industry. Check the episode's credits under "Footage & Stills Provided By" then Google "Center for Consumer Freedom". It's in their interest to smear groups like PETA, and they do it by proxy under various Websites and front organizations to confuse animal lovers and draw support away from these powerful animal welfare groups. PETA and HSUS are against what the CCF lobbies to protect. Follow the money! PETA does more for animal welfare than those who bash them. As early as season two, P&T seem to have become what they claimed to be against. And Dennis Prager's uneducated comment regarding chicken intelligence is completely wrong and false. There's an article in the Scientific American on chicken intelligence anyone can Google as well.

Penn and Teller are really great. This show is a lot of fun to watch and it's very addictive. Don't binge watch it over a weekend. It makes Mondays so much more miserable when you've seen behind the curtains on a lot of topics.
