Let's just say I have a weakness for intergalactic bounty hunter shows. I know, there's not that much out there to begin with, but that's what makes it special. This show holds a very special place in my heart alongside Cowboy Bebop. Some of the aspects of the show grabbed my attention and fascinated me from the get go. The characters, their story, the cultures revolving the Quad, the bounty hunter life, and of course the show's humor. Sure it can be a bit cheesy at times, but it's also fun and badass! Probably the most fun I've ever had watching a show like this. Plus, it has good drama to balance it out too. I'll be honest, I'm usually not a fan of most of the shows on Syfy, but this show...I LOVE!

This show is everything good that's happening on television right now. The cast is diverse and the lead is a woman of color. The world and the plots are richly imagined. The show doesn't take itself too seriously and watching an episode is fun. However, despite that fun, this fantasy world manages to explore social questions, like what does it mean for a woman to choose motherhood over a career. I. Love. This. Show.
