Finally came back to Goodreads after 7 years of not using it, only to find in all that time they didn't improve the site at all, and the app is even worse. Pretty sure a high schooler could design a more functional app. Uodate: I'm still using it, but constantly amazed how few functions the app is capable of. It's in dire need of an overhaul.

I love using goodreads, but there's so much left to be desired. On a book's profile, you used to see what friends have read it, but now it's hit or miss. My profile doesn't always update with my new reviews. The experience feels glitchy and not very optimized. It could be so much more special and I hope it's something they're working on.

This app is extremely janky and poorly optimized. I've had tons of crashes and errors. It also leaves a lot to be desired in terms of available features. There are a lot of things that can only be done on the actual website, for example changing your edtion of a book. More than anything, though, it's the crashes that are driving me crazy. Makes it hard to get anything done.
