Even with "ad free" the game sets literally impossible challenges that can only be passed by watching ads. "Permanent" boosts are taken away completely when you level up. Free version is 50% play time, 50% ads at best. The kinds of ads served are up to two minutes long, force interaction before starting the timer, force the Play store to open, hide the skip and close buttons, etc. On the plus side the actual gameplay is satisfying, but still very repetitive.

Ads aren't as bad anymore. I've put a lot of gametime into this one, but for no good reason honestly. There's tons of bloat features that have no bearing on the actual game and are needlessly repetitive and remarkably annoying. Animations you can't skip for the sake of animation. It's not good, and I wouldn't recommend it until these bloat features are either gone or have some sort of meaning to them. also, there's like four levels on repeat.

Please bring back the old game! I have been playing this game since it was released on android almost 10 years ago... I paid for no ads years ago, which apparently means nothing, because most of the game is ads now. With one of the newer updates I lost all my skins and the different game modes (battle, challenges, etc.). this new game is horrible. I just want to eat buildings again...
