『In Chungcheong Province, Naepo is the best. Gayasan is located about 200 ri northwest of Gongju. The ten villages in front and behind Gayasan are together called Naepo. The ten towns in front and behind Gayasan mentioned above are Taean, Seosan, Hongju, Deoksan, Yesan, Sinchang, Daeheung, Cheongyang, Gyeolseong, and Haemi. The current administrative districts include Seosan-si, Dangjin-si, Yesan-gun, Hongseong-gun, Taean-gun, and Boryeong-si. It can be said to be part of Asan City and Cheongyang-gun.
