The app works or it doesn't. Rakuten in general is great, especially with the desktop add-on. The app only works correctly sometimes. I've reinstalled and cleared cache and it still only partly works. Sometimes I can't get into any profile/account info. Sometimes the biometrics don't work. Currently I can't see any history, it shows my last trip was 2023 (which is not true.)

Thank you for this feedback. The biometrics function is a feature of your phone. Once activated, our app may take advantage of it to verify your identity when accessing certain parts of our app. You can find a complete list of all Shopping Trips under the My Account (the person icon) section. Lag so bad you can't make a purchase.Initially, the ap was great, and I loved the concept. over the years, I noticed at the check screen it would take a while to load, or you have to refresh the screen multiple times, and the payment was finalized. now it constantly loads no matter what payment option you choose. It's so bad I uninstalled the app.

I have spent 2 hrs trying to shop after setting up an account. There were errors in purchasing in 3 different stores. The mobile app shows no internet connection. I gave up and went straight to Walmart to make a 2 item purchase. Was there a recent update on your platform, because your recent reviews have tanked. Your responses to the app users aren't helpful. Could you provide a fix to your application? So far, the experience has been 0 stars with no chance of recommendation.

Our app is sensitive to any internet traffic blocking features or services that may be active on the phone or active through the WiFi or Data connection. This includes third-party VPNs such as NordVPN, Proton VPN, and others. While not connected to the VPN, certain third-party VPNs remains active with some built-in passive services and features.
