WhatsApp is going downhill. Too many scammers, not enough customer service for problems with updates or issues in the app. Too many unnecessary buttons, takes up too much space. It also freezes up my phone too much to overheat and then I have to turn it off, let it cool off then turn it back on again. When I do get calls on WhatsApp it gets stuck or doesn't ring.

I've been using this app for nearly a decade, and though some new useful features have been introduced throughout the years, some other features have been limited or gotten worse altogether. I remember being able to record and share lengthy videos (of 6+ minutes at some point). Then that got reduced to about 2 minutes, and now, to only 1 min and 40 seconds. But if you reach the time limit, it gets super buggy and it won't let you send the video!!

While a nice app to communicate with friends outside of the US, I'm having difficulty with the read receipts. Being part colorblind I can't always tell when the double checks change to blue. Why not change to have a clock for pending delivery, one check for delivered, and two checks for read (or if someone does want read receipt then keep it one check)? Simple solution. I can't be the only one that struggles with this at times.

What's new
• You can now edit messages up to 15 minutes after sending. Long press a message and choose ‘Edit’ to get started. • Group chats show the profile photos of their participants. These features will roll out over the coming weeks. Thanks for using WhatsApp!
