Best texting app I don't care what anybody sais so if this doesn't work for you then maybe you should stop being cheep and get better cell phone service. Don't be a jerk to the company because if you give them permission which they ask you for ahead of time for access to your info than that's on you. Unless you have something to hide you shouldn't have a problem with this app. This is the best texting app and if you have a problem then you can get on with your life. Thank you messenger I love your app definitely 5 stars
I use this app because everyone uses this app. Is it near perfect? No. So... I have suggestions: I'd like to be able to automatically mute people that message me, except a few people I choose. Like an option in settings. Also all the "now added on messenger" is cluttering everyone's inboxes. Lastly, I'd like to be able to back up my text conversations to the cloud so they can be viewed on new phones. And some non-weird color options for the conversations.
I love using fb messenger and wish app my friends loved it too so I could use it more haha. The only reason I gave 4/5 is because when there are a lot of messages, it becomes hard to look back on old messages. The search feature didn't work on my phone also.
Why make me waste data over and over again for ridiculous updates that do next to nothing for an app that is not neccesary except they force you to download it to see your messages. Everything about this app is utterly terrible due to the simple fact of it being forced upon you for no good reason. Messages should and used to be viewable in browser. There was no reason to eliminate that. The updates are even more useless
Messenger has really gotten stupid over the years. Why did they block the messages from the Facebook website? Messenger takes up to much space on my phone every time I download it I have to delete a lot of other apps. I like Facebook and I like the idea but let me see my messages on the site too. My calls r failing too much and I hese updates r not helping at all😡
There's a bug that flags a notification on the app icon even though I have no notifications, have notifications blocked in the os settings and turned off in the app settings. Although the permissions it asks for are a little puzzling (why does a chat app need my location? If I want people to know where I am I'll tell them.) you can turn them off.
Now you can see your call history and missed calls—all in one place.
