I use this app because everyone uses this app. Is it near perfect? No. So... I have suggestions: I'd like to be able to automatically mute people that message me, except a few people I choose. Like an option in settings. Also all the "now added on messenger" is cluttering everyone's inboxes. Lastly, I'd like to be able to back up my text conversations to the cloud so they can be viewed on new phones. And some non-weird color options for the conversations.
app keeps crashing frequently when in pop out mode. It keeps force closing itself even when I'm in the middle of typing sometimes. Also is there an option to disable message reacts? It's pretty pointless, and more than a few times, during done tense conversations trying to slide down my messages has made a laughing or other react in a really serious conversation. I never intentionally use reacts in messenger and other people seem to have this problem too. Is there a toggle for messenger?
HORRIBLY CLUTTERED!! I've been posting much longer reviews on this terribly designed app for a couple years and it just gets worse. I've been transitioning off Facebook Messenger... just can't deal with all the pointless clutter anymore. #fail
Why the hell are my text messages messed up with my facebook chats? And I've been continuously trying to get the rid of them but in vain. I tell you the app was very good but facebook has done some disaster updates in this app. !!!!
it keeps downloading all the photos my friends post :( my problem is i have a meizu m10 note1 so you cant put sd cards on it soooo im out of storage like in a flash ps im bad at English sorry
Why do I need a separate app for sending messages on Facebook now? This app has too many privacy concerns for you to force people to use it just to send a PM on a social media site. Bring back MSN and Yahoo messenger, hell even Myspace. Facebook has far overstepped it's boundaries. It use to just be for college students and was super lame. Now it's taken over our lives and won't be satisfied until it can read our thoughts before we even have them.
Now you can see your call history and missed calls—all in one place.
