Ratings and reviews

There is no way to choose a directory of documents to scan. You have to wait for the app to scan your entire device storage for eligible files before choosing the document or documents that you want to convert, an excruciatingly slow process. Also, the app doesn't recognize PDF files in which text is embedded in graphic format, such as JPEG. How useless is that? Not happy.

Forces save to cloud. You cannot toggle a setting to save files locally, they default to being saved in the adobe cloud. If you want YOUR scans of YOUR documents saved to YOUR device that you own, you have to manually select "save to device" for each one of them. It would be easy to add a setting to save locally, but then the vampires at Adobe couldn't harass you to "upgrade" to a cloud subscription constantly. I'd rather pay $5 for an app that saves to my device than have a "free" parasite!

Good scanning app. Free. Fast scans. Allows you to scan multiple pages and save as one PDF file. Scanner is intelligent enough to know the borders of the document even if you place it on top of multiple documents in the background. O would love to see a feature where it allows me to specify where to save the file - right now it only allows you to default to saving it in Adobe Cloud (free), but I would like to save the scanned docs directly to my mobile phone's storage. Overall five stars.
