I am most interested in the professional camera feature, which is very nice, especially together with the RAW/DNG format. Sadly for the camera on my Caterpillar CAT S60 there is no good camera profile added to the DNG file, so that when trying to edit photos in LightRoom (on the desktop) one has to do a lot of manual tweaking. It would be nice if there were a way for people to exchange camera profiles, or for Adobe to provide ones. A help page in the doc on how to make ones would be useful too.
Not Android 7 (nougat) + nexus 5x compatible This is the best thing that ever happened to my phone. BUT: Ever since the update to Android 7 (Nougat), the dng files taken with Lightroom mobile camera are upside down in my Google photos gallery :( ALSO: in the sample images here it says seamless integration with Photoshop FIX?!? I can only find PS Mix. It's not the same thing! Some consistency here would be great...
Makes the greatest editor even greater Lightroom and photoshop are some of, if not the best photo editors on the market. Lightroom mobile allows me to share to my phone within the app and do basic adjustments on the go. And on top of it it automatically formats the mobile files for your phone and whatever social media you want to share to, which you can do right from the app to post in the highest quality possible from your phone. If you have Adobe, lightroom mobile is a must in my opinion
Huge LR fan, LR mobile lacking The LR mobile app can be great when it is working properly. When shooting raw images and traveling it allows you to have access to and make minor and even some heavier adjustments to your images as long as you have internet to sync. It does crash VERY frequently on my device and lately stopped allowing me to view and edit my images. Huge potential, lots of work to make it as effective as it could be.
Stop the whining about subscriptions Adobe has done a great job moving Lightroom to the cloud. I've gotten so much more usage out of these services and I really enjoy being able to tweak my photos on mobile. I do think Adobe should allow more installation of the software on more devices, but otherwise this is great!
Problem with Android tablets.... Love Lightroom for PC, used it since V1. Tried the App which looks great but doesn't let me use the in app camera on Android tablets, Tesco Hudl 2 on Android V5 and Sony Xperia Z3 on Android V6 both just have 'Add photos' on the blue bar, no camera icon. Works fine on my iPhone, when installing on the iPhone it asks for camera access, not so on the Android devices, maybe I'm missing something.
Update: Bug Fixes
• New and improved in-app camera. The new interface makes it even easier to capture photos at their best, providing a modern mobile capture experience. When supported by the device, take control over the shutter speed, ISO, white balance, and focus.
• Improved full resolution output. Images that were added through Lightroom on the web or Lightroom mobile can be exported at their native resolution.
• Support for latest Adobe Camera Raw functionality
• Various bug fixes
If you like retouched and edited images, this is your best app!
