How to play the backgammon game

- Classic backgammon is a logic puzzle for two, played on a board of 24 triangles. These triangles are called points.
- Each player sits on the opposite sides of the board with 15 checkers, black or white.
- To start the backgammon game, players take turns and roll the dice. That’s why free backgammon is often called a dice game.
- In backgammon players move pieces based on the numbers rolled. For example, if you roll 2 and 5, you can move one piece 2 points and another one 5 points. Alternatively, you can move one piece 7 points.
- Once all of a player’s pieces are in his or her “home”, that player may begin removing pieces off of the board.
- A player wins the backgammon game once all of their pieces are removed from the board

The dice are so rigged. Opponents consistently roll double sixes and fours while you get stuck with low numbers. When you are trying to get a piece into play, it won't roll what you need for four plus roles, which allows your opponent to win easily with their doubles over 90% of the time. The game is extremely frustrating and irritating. There are much better backgammon games out there, so don't waste your time downloading this one.

Hi, thanks for the review! We apologize for any frustration you've experienced. Our game uses a fair and random dice rolling system, ensuring equal chances for both players. While it may seem like the computer opponent gets more doubles, it's important to remember that randomness can sometimes result in streaks or patterns.

I understand that adds are necessary to pay the bills but this is ridiculous. Double add when starting a match, double add somewhere mid-match, double add at the end of a match. O, I forgot, another double add when you launch the app before even clicking a single thing. Just asinine. I spend more time watching adds than playing matches.

Too many unlikely rolls. Doubling cube doesn't work right. Need to press a "button" to initiate a roll, even though you don't have a choice, but to roll. Like the automated bearing off feature once each the player is beyond reach of the other, except that it does not bear off logically sometimes. Enjoy the tournaments and unique side games, which helps scoring for the tournaments. With a few small fixes, this could be a really good backgammon app.

Hello! Dice rolls are determined by an RNG to ensure fairness. The auto bearing off logic will be improved in future updates. While auto-roll isn’t planned for now, we appreciate the suggestion. The doubling cube follows standard rules, except that currently you can’t double if your pip count is higher—a limitation we may adjust in the future.
