About this app

Application to record video in the background using a widget, quick settings button at the notification panel or floating window which appears on the top of all other applications.

Privacy:
All your recorded videos will be saved only on your local device. We never make backup copies of your videos (the application doesn't have and doesn't connect to the servers)

Features:
- Background video recording - you can continue recording when the application is minimized and use other applications at the same time that do not use the camera.
- Timestamp (datetime overlay) directly on your records (optional), also you can set custom additional subtitle.
- Loop Recording - auto deletion of old video files when there is not enough space for new videos (you can set max space usage for all videos).

Ratings and reviews

I love the fact that you can customise so many features however I wish we could also toggle to hide the entire UI when recording and reappear when tapping screen. If the feature was available I would have rated 5 stars. I know you can manually remove icons from the list under "buttons on screen" but doesn't provide a seamless unobstructed full screen view and it's not practical as some icons are necessary for between recordings. EDIT: it seems you forgot to add "timer" to removable buttons

This is the best app I could find in the entire Google App Store for my needs. However, it randomly stops working without warning after prolonged continuous use (50h+). - BVR was running in background the entire time - NO app tried to use mic or cam during the process - Battery Optimization was successfully applied OS: Android 15 (OneUI 7.0) Patch level: September 1, 2025

thank you for fixing (again, apparently) the synchronization issue between the Helga version of the app in the Play store versus the other version of the app in the Galaxy store. they still show up as separate apps even though they aren't separate. I don't know if either the Google Play store or the Galaxy store can fix that issue or not, but today's update in Play store did function and did update properly, and now the request to update from the Galaxy store is no longer happening, good?
