Blue by ADT’s DIY home security system can grow and move with your evolving needs. Set up a Camera Only system or create your security system. It can also talk to your compatible smart home devices for a seamless experience. Get secure mobile access to your Blue by ADT system and control your smart home from your mobile device. You can create rules, alerts, manage users, access your cameras, saved media, and history of events all from your app remotely. Receive custom push notifications and emails for events around your house like arming, disarming, sensor alerts, camera motion, doorbell rings, or even if your garage door has opened.

App crashes during initial setup. I have two phones that I tried to set this up with. A Google pixel 6A and a Samsung Galaxy S24 ultra. For both phones during the setup phase, it crashes when trying to connect a Smart hub. it crashes right after you click on the button to connect a smart hub. it would be one thing if it was just one of the phones. but it's the same exact place for both phones. I bought hundreds of dollars of equipment, 11 door sensors. five motion sensors, and of course the hub

Moved from a house I own to a place I rent, so I was moved from a professional set up to a DIY set up and was told it's the latest & greatest, does the same thing for half the price, and that I can rest assured. Well, I've had the Blue system for about 5 days now, and I've run into nothing but problems with this stupid app. The system itself is easy to set up and use. The app, however, is horrible. There's not enough space for me to go into detail here about the problems (limit: 500 characters).

I always have problems with the cameras and batteries not working. I just installed a new sensor 2wks ago and the battery us already low. The battery for a camera wasn't working well either and they never sent a new one. I'm still waiting. Customer service is not so great. I was on hold for 20 minutes then got hung up on. The third time I called I was on the phone getting switched from one person to another. They all do the same thing!!! Their tech support and billing.
