I wish that the schedule feature on this app would allow users to turn the temperature down below 60 degrees (off) during hours when hot water is not needed. Since I run my home on solar and batteries, I don't want the water heater running after 8:00 pm and I don't want it to come back on until I start getting sufficient generation in the morning. please modify the app to allow lower temperatures to be set in the schedule.

New app and water heater are terrible. So much worse than the old one. If my wifi goes out for even just a few minutes, the water heater permanently disconnects, and I have to re-add it as a new device. Then, when adding it, I can't select the wifi SSID it found, because selecting it just immediately tries to connect without giving you the option to enter the password, and then it says it failed to connect. So, I have to manually enter everything. App feels like it was built by amateurs.

The leak detector has never worked properly. I turn on the power to heat the water, and then I have to run to my phone and override the leak detector. My plumber called Rheem, but their advice didn't fix the problem. I think the board is defective. I wish we got the plain water heater, no frills. I'd leave the power on, but the heater always heats to a minimum 110 degrees. If I could set it at a lower temperature, I wouldn't turn it on and off as much.
