The long and short of it, is that I can't stand audio latency. Some audio codecs sound better, but will lead to a desynchronization between what's happening on the screen, and the audio. The premium version of this app, will automatically override the headsets default settings, and switch the to the audio codec of your choosing. One time purchase, no BS ads, no pop ups, no subscription. We should support developers that allow you to actually buy a license, vs renting one with a subscription.

When listening to a Bluetooth speaker, headphones or ear buds, the one thing to know is, you have to have the right codec to achieve the best audio sound. Not all Bluetooth audio devices, whether it's sending the signal or receiving it, coincide with each other. Which means, the sound you hear may not be what you expected. So I highly recommend installing the Bluetooth Codec Changer. I guarantee, your listening experience will be unforgettable.

I have a Bluetooth dongle that, for whatever reason, powers itself off when the phone negotiates aptx adaptive. You can set codecs in the developer menu but it's a race condition every time I pair, I need to set aptx-hd at precisely the right time. The paid version of this app let me work around this by auto-setting aptx-hd every time it pairs.
