The Book of Enoch is any of several pseudepigraphal works that attribute themselves to Enoch, the great-grandfather of Noah; that is, Enoch son of Jared (Genesis 5:18). Enoch is also one of the two people in the Bible taken up to heaven without dying (the other being Elijah), as the Bible says "And Enoch walked with God, and he was not; for God took him." (Genesis 5:24; see also Hebrews 11:5).

The Book of Enoch, written during the second century B.C.E., is one of the most important non-canonical apocryphal works, and probably had a huge influence on early Christian, particularly Gnostic, beliefs. Filled with hallucinatory visions of heaven and hell, angels and devils, Enoch introduced concepts such as fallen angels, the appearance of a Messiah, Resurrection, a Final Judgement, and a Heavenly Kingdom on Earth.

I haven't had any adds pop up and interup me while I'm reading just the adds are on the bottom out of the way I like that I mean could you imagine reading then a add pops up so you have wait to continue reading that would irritating I like the app

i have just downloaded the app and started reading and got a few pages on and I kept getting bolted off of the app after I hit the later button on the (rate me ) pop up . so here I am bc hopefully now I can read the book without being kicked off every sentence!!!

Like many people, I've never read the book of Enoch. Some of Enoch is repeated in the Bible but explained further. This is a great application, easy to understand, use, good features and a very attractive setup. Looks like a real book. There are several different translations of 1st Enoch which was the only one found in the Dead Sea Scrolls. Great customization options, bookmarks and it remembers where you stop reading when you close the application. I highly recommend it!
