CAUTION: REQUEST USERS NOT TO USE THIS APP I recently used CCleaner to clear cache. I know for sure I didn't select "Data" to be deleted but noticed something strange that the "Visible Cache" was around 40 GB. I know few games keeps >1GB of cache so I assumed it was that & cleared it only to find out later that it deleted my entire Gallery, all the photos, videos & everything else that was in the gallery because all those data were copied from my old phone which had 9+ year old data as well :(

I use Ccleaner on my PC and it is great. I am also using the free version on my phone, where I accept it comes with adverts. HOWEVER, when you can't escape those ads, then the app becomes more of a nuisance than useful. Fine, show me ads. But if it is a product I'm not interested in, then I need a simpler escape that being bounced between the add and the associated app. Very disappointing!

30/08/21 UPDATE: Finally had enough and uninstalled; ads are simply too intrusive and there are many alternatives available. Bye 👋 Reduced the score to 2-stars. The program itself appears to work somewhat, even though it sometimes takes much longer to complete on the same device. However, even though this is the free version, I have never encountered such obtrusive ads, some of which cannot be stopped without closing down the program before I have finished using!!! I will look at alternatives!
