The free version is an ad-supported version and scanned documents are generated are with watermark, plus a limit of 30 pages of adding annotations; Uploading to Evernote/OneDrive is only available for 7 days; Invite 10 collaborators per document at most.

Permission Overview:
1. Storage: CamScanner needs permission to store docs in your phone.
2. Camera: CamScanner needs permission to use camera to scan docs.
3. Phone: In order to bind Premium membership to your device or to ensure normal use without login, CamScanner needs to get your device ID.

Legitimately one of the best apps for someone on the 1099 life. Taking pictures of receipts alone where it clearly upscales and cleans the image up into a higher resolution photo is a game changer! But after that, I discovered being able to simply take a picture of paperwork to keep a clean log of work has also been amazing! I genuinely love this app and I don't even use a fraction of the things it can do! 😂

If you need to keep your receipts for taxes, tracking expenses, or whatever reason. This is the app you need. It saves everything to a clear, easy to read PDF. I use CamScanner to photo/scan my receipts for work. Makes doing expense reports so much easier. Best PDF scanner app on the market. Used free version 5+ years. Upgraded to the paid about 2 months ago. No regrets, like the added features and no ads on the paid version.

Make sure you don't click on the "free trial" ad. Because anywhere you click, it doesn't matter they still sign you up. Then you get a 52 dollar charge, and their customer service is useless and doesn't take responsibility for it. I'm definitely getting my money back and finding a new app. Update: I never signed up for your "free trial", thats the point! Then your response from customer service, "Besides, the trial of the Premium subscription would automatically renew if you don't cancel"
