About this app

Calcium is essential for bone health. It has a role in the formation and strength of bones throughout life. Insufficient calcium intake can weaken bones and is one of the main risk factors for osteoporosis, a disease characterized by a reduction in bone mass.
Osteoporosis increases the risk of fractures, the consequences of which can be very serious on a daily basis. To help you preserve the health of your bones, the Arrow laboratory has developed the “CarlOs” application. It allows you, depending on your profile, to know your daily calcium needs and to calculate your daily calcium food intake, simply and quickly. This information is purely indicative and does not constitute medical advice or a diagnosis. The app
is not intended to replace the advice or medical monitoring of healthcare professionals.
The application provides access to the evolution of your calcium intake. In addition, practical sheets informing you about bone health (the importance of calcium and vitamin D, osteoporosis, its risk factors, etc.) are available to you.
