About this game

A classical turn-based roguelike* styled game, with pixel art graphics. The main feature of the game are caves, that you can dig through using your pickaxe. Both magic and high technology go together here.

- A lot of unlockable high-tech armors

- Find resources and craft unique and powerful items in a Crafting Station on your base
- Hordes of skeletons, mutants, robots, and other creatures
- Create your unique character by choosing different stats. Find your playstyle and your tactic.

- Big, randomly generated areas to explore
- Many interesting items
- A huge weapons arsenal, from bows and daggers to plasma guns and energy swords, experimental guns, and magic superweapons
- Each weapon has its own unique ability
- Comfortable controls (Gamepad support, Touchscreen D-Pad)

Caves (Roguelike) is a true diamond in the endless seas of shovelware on google play. If you're looking for a fun but intricately difficult turn based roguelike, this is the one. Graphics are simple but awesome, enemy design and mechanics 10/10. Sound design 10/10. Great game dev, I look forward to seeing where you take it in the future.

A very good roguelike, with tons of unique features in an ever changing environment. The pixel art is simplistic, but that somehow makes it even better. The turn based mechanic also allows you to think best about your next move. This game is very hard though, so expect to die a lot. (It's okay though, I like challenging games). The only thing I don't like is the intrusive ad at the bottom of the screen when the inventory is open. I keep pressing it on accident. It is the most annoying ad ever.

I cannot rate this game highly enough. It is clear the developer is passionate about crafting an excellent game, with constant updates and new features. The pixel art style is phenomenal, with atmospheric sound, and a wealth of items to collect. Each run is a challenge that you can tune in difficulty, and tens of unique characters to unlock in the runs with differing skills and play styles.
